  • Im no fan of taekwondo......BJJ is almost the perfect pure martial art out there....But he is a fun fighter to watch Greetz form a Turk out Amsterdam

  • I see he learned WTF style TKD. But what I see from him is real origin of TKD, Sue-Barck. Current WTF, olympic style TKD is mere point gathering sport based on Tekken, which is more like old sport in korean.

  • @JInsdfs323sdf Hes actually an ITF competitor, theres a fight up on this somewhere of him walking down to the ring in his ITF suit. I think from a match in A1 he had

  • Oh and for any taekwondo fans i have posted a vid every one is welcome apart from haters lol cheers

  • Nice vid man

  • mather of fact turkey has something called the holly warriors wich do ride on horse back and are all dressed up in black and called in turkey mujaheadin wich are known to be fearce and powerful

  • not going to lie. he looks a million times better in the ring.

  • he more looks like a turkish warrior. riding a horse shooting arrows. many ancient warriors had his hairstyle.

he's using TKD. fast kicks and mainly kicks. that's why he's representing TKD.

  • a turkish guy saving taekwondo's ass--another reason why we koreans love Turkey.

  • helal koreannn you are very friendss ... i am a turk in belgian ....

  • @wholetheworldismine

turkey and kimchi cant mix together u know

  • @s2003m0205 they sure can, bitch :)but then u obviously wouldnt know--turkey over rotten soybean natto with a child porn on top?now that's sick

  • @s2003m0205 well the ancestors of the turks originate from middle to far east asia. now they're mixed a lot with greeks as they used to war with them.

突厥(Göktürk Kağanlığı) are the ancestors who're decendants of 匈奴(chinese pron.:Xiongnu) so they're kinda relatives of koreans as they were related with goguryeo.

i'm just informing you so if you believe this stuff or not depends on you.

  • @wholetheworldismine Turkey is awesome in christmas : )

  • Meh a good fighter is a good fighter he's quick and powerful it's not about fighting a real Thai Muay Thai fighter it's about fighting a real good fighter one who's trained enough to match 'em y'know what I mean?

  • muay tai is very different by tjis game

  • La mera verga ese hijue puta

  • he is extremely good in the ring, but i guess if he'd go in korea he'f find it rather difficult

  • no he wouldnt.koreans dont kick box they only adept at tkd..seen as hes won the turkish tkd open and some Europe comps hes tks is sweet plus he went profesional K1 hes fukin own the Koreans with some hand combinations

  • hey guys he is not slow in the matches.i recommend you to see him in matches with your own eyes. i am a 2. dan teakwon-do fighter and i can feel that he is the best. he can kill you by an only one kick.

  • kill you by 1 kick .... yeah right ...

  • harıka bence diyer antremenlarınıda koymalısın senın hakkında bilgi ver çalışmalarına bakalım samuray başka bence tek antreman yapıyomuşun agaçlarla merak edıyoruz buradan izlet bize

  • he is very slow he need to be trained let him go to koria lol or maybe send him to iraq and they will teach him hehehe.

  • Tamer Serbest , the trainer in this video. Also my trainer :)

  • I watched serkan he was good its just he did not have enough experience ,when you fight in a foreign land you gotta have one thing in ur mind KO - KILL ur oponents must go down and never get up then ur the winner , otherwise your in set up ! even if u win u loose ! thats it !

  • mauy thai kicks - strong heavy and slow

tkd kick - fukin fast not heavy but gives you the shock

  • He'll be back in K-1 MAX, you'll see

I personally think he's a really tough guy, but needs to check kicks. Watch his fights versus Masato and Kohi. He gets his legs kicked the shit out of, but keeps fighting. Look at how flush those kicks land.

  • he loses in the point game. in terms of destructive power, serkan wins, but winning fighters are often good at racking up points, like good little Street Fighter II characters. notice how he ignores the small kicks and jabs that would score points. you can read the desperation on the faces of his opponents, while serkan's is all focus and death. he's a good fighter, not necessarily a fight winner. either way, he's tight. i'd like to meet this guy.

  • I think the real reason he wasn't invited back was because he almost won the Japanese tournament. And they got scared that a foreigner almost won.

He also gave Masato a good fight.

  • You're right. He gave Masato too good of a fight.

  • Comment removed

  • @firstnamenavarre

you are know talking about semi contact

in full contact we dont land a 'small kick' just to score a fast point.

  • serkan es una maquina, se le cruzaun gueon lo mata seguro,le quedaran piernas en 10 anos mas?

  • Ok fuckin Gays , Listen up , That guy is my nefyo

And He's A good Mt Defence master

  • stupid prat, he lost his chance in K1. Its really dumb, he had a great potential and vigor in himself. He doesnt have any chance of comeback now. Without training professionaly (just see this video), without a good guidance, he is a lost cause. sorry for him, we´ll see him probably in local mock-fighting scenes soon.

  • he's a Turkish TKD champion... =)

  • Awesome

  • Seni tekrar K-1 'de görmek istiyoruz Turkish Samurai !!!!

  • I like this guy. He makes good use of spinning back kicks and hook kicks. Many MT guys dont do that.

  • ASLAN PARCASI BEEEEEEE

  • Looks strong & solid..

  • amybe some more Muay Thai and Boxing would help him along his way ? ? ?

  • My question for you is y does he need Muay thai when their kick is not as effective as tkds.

  • Your kidding right, Muay Thai has no snap kick, TKD is all snap kicks. You dont know shit i dont even know why im replying.

  • elbows, knees, and defence

  • Are you insane? :S

muay thai kicks are a lot more effective than tkd s...

If you had been training both you would have known...

Yilmaz is (when fighting greater opponents) barelly landing any kicks at all he isnt moore effective than a Muay thai fighter...

  • i agree tkd kicks have nothing on muay thai itrained in both im in mma right now but u have to admit a good combination of the two can be deadly if u notice even tho he throws witht he speed of tkd kicks hes still landing leg kicks and such with his shin so hes found a good balance

  • muay thai kicks are too slow lol i tried

  • lol...mayb you werent't doing them correctly? it takes time to get the form down. but when you do its pretty fast depending how you use your core and hips.

  • he's just got more flash...lol

  • he does train kickboxing. check his wikipedia page. he's actually more proficient in boxing than the average tkd fighter.

  • love those back kicks!!!!
