Actually...To those who think noodle died or disappeared on the WIndmill, that's false. It was staged so Noodle could take a break, Noodle was then eventually dragged down in to hell as a replacement for Russel and disappeared. Watch the storyboard for Melancholy Hill, at the end she has a bruise on her face from the time she had spent in hell not from the Windmill.

Half of this or more was stated by Murdoc on his pirate Radio. Hell, the Wikipedia page even has all of this right.

so, i watched melancholy hill and el manana. On windmill island i think the japaneese wanted noodle back or something and they shot at her alot. she got shot in the head and windmill island fell apart. they thought she was dead. when they found her she was in a fed ex box. but at their house they found a box that said dedex and 2d made her a cybord to keep her alive

The rest of the band had no clue what happened to her, so Murdoc built a cyborg Noodle to finish the album. Finally on Meloncoly hill, we see Noodle is alive and fighting, while cyborg Noodle wakes up with a bullet wound in her hed from this part of the story. Watch the "Rhinestone eyes" storyboard video.

Noodle gets shot down when she's on the Windmill and Murdoc wanted to get the band together to do another album(plastic beach) so he created cyborg noodle because he didn't know what happened to real noodle... The demons in Russel took her down to hell with them. Murdoc tried to save her, but she had already escaped. She was on the windmill island, the shooting down was a hoax created by Murdoc to help her avoid the government. Murdoc couldn't find her(watch the On Melancholy Hill video) so he used her DNA to make a cyborg

@TheMrPigglesworth well, from what i got out of it, there is this one guy who wanted to be a guitarist for the band before it formed, and that noodle came along and they denied him, so he wanted to kill noodle, and he has been stalking them ever since, and he made a plan with murdoc to kill noodle so, and he was going to be on the floating island to make sure it went down or something, but murdoc betrayed him and had noodle parachute off it...at least thats what wikipedia told me
