  • Every second of this is brilliant. Shoulda been on the original series Blu Ray as an easter egg extra.

  • BRAVO, SIMPLYPAUL! "Be seeing you..."

  • The penny-farthing unicycle is absolute genius!

  • @reverendgaddy I tend to agree :) Thanks for the nice comment. Be seeing you.

  • Brilliant throwback to Adam & Joe.

I'm sure they'd be proud, lol

  • @TwistedMetalLegion I'd be thrilled to think the Award Winning Adam & Joe had seen this. It was made with love for them. Back-slapping manly love, not kissy-kissy love. If you ever read this Adam, it's not you, it's the beard :)

  • The new series of The Prisoner started on ITV1 (UK) last night. Personally I thought this was better :P

  • superb m8 ha ha ha be seeing you!

  • STROP XD

  • LOL hilarious. R.I.P patrick

  • Mr. HANKEY!!!

Did you make all the props by yourself?

  • Most of them. Some are toys or models, but all the miniture village stuff and signs I made with card and a printer. Thanks for the interest :)

  • wow! i wish i was as talented as you.

oh yeah no prob! i was laughing so hard that i had to watch it like six million times to hear everything they were saying. and did i see a little britain reference in there?

  • It's possible- there's a lot of all sorts of things. There's a bit of The League of Gentlemen, some Adam and Joe... all sorts. Now I think about it, I'm not sure about Little Britain, lol! What did you spot refering to them?

  • @SimplyPaul at 10:00 when number 2 is giving 6 a tour of the village and you see all thoes signs and one of them says "who is the only gay in the village?"

  • Of course! It was a while ago when I made this and I'd forgotten that one. Well spotted; yep, that would be a Little Britain reference :)

  • A much better remake than the one I just watched on television!

  • @mercedeshayes i agree 10,000 %

  • I did wonder why this was getting lots of new hits- it all makes sense now! No new Priz in the UK yet, but I'm sure we'll get it in due course. As with the Wicker Man remake, I'm not shocked to hear the new version's lost something in translation.

  • ABSOLUTELY ***BRILLIANT***!!!!!! XD

    *Peace*!

  • I think all of the postive superlatives have already been given for this vid... great job.

I was clapping through the opening sequence, that was really well made, especially when he was dashing down the hall heading to the office to resign, you resembled the original brilliantly.

It's fair to say i wasn't expecting that.

top vid, 5 stars from me

  • Aww, thanks very much. A lot of the opening sequence was shot at the original locations, but the feet/face intercutting was shot in an underpass closer to home. The previous slot, looking down the tunnel was the original corridor near Marble Arch though. Anal, moi? :)

  • This just TOO good!

  • Hilarious!! Especially the Number Two!

  • I'm glad you enjoyed it. Tell your friends :)

  • LMAO! it went on a bit tho lol

but it was still dead funny!

  • Do Not Foresake Me Oh My Darling is the best Prisoner episode. I'm serious.

  • I've been a fan of the Prisoner for years and I must admit this is the best episode.

  • Probably the best ever spoof I've seen on YouTube. Can't wait to see the others.

  • More entertaining than the original; it even recognizes the show's tedium that few dare acknowledge.

  • Fan-bleedin-tastic! Be seeing you!

  • I'm eagerly anticipating 'Dance of the Ted'.......

    .......telepathically of course.......

  • so many great lines in this but "he's clearly a vegetable" was the best!

superb vid! I love the Prisoner and I love this!

  • You have excellent taste :D

Thanks for the kind words. I do love a bit of feedback. 'Dance of the Ted' is still being worked on. Slowly. Stay tuned for that...

  • Bravo, bravo, bravo!!! Brilliant!

  • I'm thrilled you enjoyed it. You have excellent taste :D

  • This is my first fav vid ever. Rest in peace number 6.

  • LOL! This is very good.

  • Channel 4 are laying claim to some content in this. Can you spot anything they might own the rights to? I'd love to know what you -or they- might think is theirs :)

  • Don't you Brits have the rights to parody? Surely Channel 4 would have told you specifically what IP you mis-appropriated if they really had a case, right? It sounds like an attempt at intimidation only.

    Great video, by the way!

    Greg

  • Channel 4 backed down when challenged, but I don't know what their claim was. I think it may be because I tagged it with 'Adam and Joe', which channel 4 do have the rights to. Someone there jumped to conclusions, I think. Glad you enjoyed it :)

  • And I wont be databased, either....didnt i see that big bouncing breast in a woody allen movie?

  • I'm sure there are many Zero Punctuation Fans wondering if he is doing the Voice of the Prisonbear. It always sounds like the bear is about to go off on a profane rant at any moment. I suppose this series will end when he takes a "piss" and finally discovers who Number One is.

  • haha! This is great! Thanks for sharing!

  • BRILLIANT!!!!!!! I wish I could give more than five stars!

  • Just excellent. It reminds me of the 'Penny Farthing Mystery' puppet film from many years ago.

Great script. Just hilarious. I put an attachment to your youtube film on the 'WhatsOnTV' blog site for the new Prisoner miniseries.

You never know, yours just might be better than the new one.

  • This is what YouTube was made for. THIS IS FANTASTIC!

  • I'm thrilled you like it and yes, I think YouTube should have more weirdly amateur films featuring teddies spoofing cult 60s series too. I'm waiting for someone to do 'The AvengeBears' :)

  • hilarious xD

  • Briefed-debriefed and buried in soft peat for 3 months and recycled as firelighters.

    lol good job

  • This is absolutely amazing, well done!!

  • Mount Stock-Footage! yay.

Captures both the craziness of the original and Adam and Joe's style

  • Love that Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy was mentioned and Number 6 looks like my fav childhood toy! Too perfect :)

  • Brilliant brilliant stuff... great in-jokes!

  • Wicked video. Seen the series and it's great. Nice filming. Love the shop keeper. Keep up the good work.

  • At last, i`ve worked it out,and it all makes perfect sense.Prisonbear was held captive and given a new title, all due to his given name, see video 6 minutes40 to 6minutes50. Personally I think he deserves a full pardon.

  • Do you sell GPS? ha ha ha ha!

  • very very entertaining, but bit like uk today lots of surveillance, lots of information required, public opion ignored.I get to feeling i`m a prisoner .(hope this doesn`t spoil your fun)

  • Positively Brilliant!

  • This was beautifully observed and well made. Absolutely hilarious! Well done sir!

  • brilliant! saw this at Portmeirion last year. Doing any more??

  • There's part 3, Dance of the Ted in production (and has been for over a year!) but I've had other more pressing things to do. I hope to complete it when I've got some free time. Stay tuned!

  • As a fellow Prisoner devotee I am impressed with your efforts! Humour-Yes, Storyline-Yes, Dialogue & Detail like customised Map of the Village etc. Yes Yes Yes! You are the new No2!

  • Well done, must have taken you ages. Love the attention to detail and the many references.

  • funny as hell haha thanx

  • XDDDDDD -- 1:56..... in the shop "Please dont ask for credit as being found disharmoneous may offend" BLOOY BRILLIANT !!!!!

  • Thats so funny =]. I've only seen the first bit of the prisoner, My Dad bought us the compleate series of it, and where going to Portmerion in a week or so. Its inspired me now I'm gonna have to collect some teddy's from somewhere and make a episode of "scrubs" with them. I love the bit where the weird long thing fell over =] keep up the good work [=

  • Glad you enjoyed it, and I hope you love Portmeirion; it's a wonderful place. The weird long thing is Mr Hanky the Christmas Poo from South Park. I look forward to your Teddy Scrubs. I hope you'll put it up on YouTube too :)

  • haha yes I'm pretty sure i will enjoy portmerion,we've been planning it for ages now so if I don't Ill be very anoyed with myself! I've started making my scrubs thing too, but its going to be quite hard to make a parody of that because its so funny anyway!

  • Cant wait for 'Dance of the Ted'.Prisonbear for President!

  • they shouldn't make fun. the show is too cool for that

  • I must add "sense of humor" to your file!

  • "I am not a number! I am a Teddy Bear!" - I love that quote

  • lol ,the womble, lol, but well done, very impressive, i actually like this alot

  • Outstanding! ROTFLMAO!

  • Absolutely brilliant - what effort went into it - all the subtle stuff too - the 'Adam & Joe' grave, the MRSA sign, 'Only Gay In The Village' etc. etc. Plus - you really know you'r 'Prisoner' stuff too which makes it work excellently!!!

My favourite bit? Cobb! A definite 'groan' and a 'lol' at the same time for that!

    Be seeing you!

    N.

  • Brilliant! I really enojyed watching that.

  • Much wit with humour, a great parody.

  • Well done!!! Very clever indeed.

  • "it's worse than that...two glass eyes".

Now that line will run through my head every time I look at a teddy bear now. How the hell do explain that?

  • Excellent, loved the "abbot & costello" piece :D

  • That Number 2 is such a little shit.
