Actually it ran from 2003-2004 on Showtime.. the movie was released on DVD in 2009 and there was an option to restart the series (which I was hoping they would opt to do as this was an amazing series)

I only discovered DLM about four months ago in very early morning re-runs in syndication. From what I understand the show ran in prime time in '06 for only one or two seasons on Fox---all I can say is, this show is the greatest thing I ever saw. I completely fell in love with it and I CANT get enough of it. Ellen Muth is B-R-I-L-L-I-A-N-T and so is Rube, Mason, Daisy, and Roxy (too bad they took Betty off--Gayheart was good too)

best part is at the end. the email part is extermely funny but true. I used to work in the call center where you see 20 people packed into like 20 square feet of space and sitting next to each other but due the fact that we are on the phone 99 % of the time the only way to communicate to one another is via email (even if you are right next to each other !)
