@macmule Tissues are made out of paper, which comes from trees. So you're pretty much eating a tree when you're consuming a ton of tissue. So yeah, its bad.

I've had these tiny blankets that are silky on one side and like cotton on the other, and the tag Is silky too

Whenevr I suck my thumb (usually only at nite) I rub the silky part or the tag over my lip -like in between ur lip and ur nose where a mustache wud go lol

When I was in like 3rd grade I had a retainer thing to help me stop I did 4 a while but then I kept doing it after it got taken out

I sleep with a hair dryer. It's soothing and warming. I need the noise to fall asleep. If I don't have a hair dryer, I use a noise machine (one with waterfalls, rainstorms, etc). It's really not that weird. People just think it is because they are are so closed minded. I have never had it burn my skin, the sheets, or anything. When the dryer is done, it just dies. I use it when I am cold too, to warm up my fingers and toes. I also use it to dry my hair ;)

I won't say I have broken the habit...but now when I want to bite my nails, I clip them as short as I can, and then file them down. While I'm sure a habit doesn't qualify as an addiction, I treat myself as an addict...that I have to be en guarde for a relapse. Also...who is delfino? Just curious.
