@adamhopeless How are horrid, they look bad-ass, sound great and were preferred by greats such as Jerry Garcia, Angus Young, Frank Zappa, Robby Krieger and Tony Iommi
@samsael - Oh ya! Santana who loves his PRS guitars which are a influenced by Gibson tone monsters such as, Les Pauls, SG's, and JR's. etc... These set neck guitars along with the humbucker pickups have allot of sustain (feed back being a different subject) makes one want to melt. Cheers bro!
@ccrotti Yeah I realize the sound was being produced with just a guitar, amp and good technique. Whenever someone hears a good sound the first question they ask is "what pedals did you use?" I couldn't resist a little sarcasm :)
way to really make a listener crave that finishing note, I love your style, you really let it sustain and then right at the last moment switch to next note, it's like sweet+sour sauce,no no it's more like you want serious food but crave something sweet. Great job man, forgive my crazy analogies.
gibson sg + jtm-45 takes you to the edge of sounds.... this combination is a classical old one.... and it's like the old strato pluged on a bassman 5f6-a, you know what i mean....
Bassman uses diferent tubes in original specs than the Bluesbreaker :-) Bassman 12AT7 and 5881 (i am not sure to the power tubes) and the JTM-45 used 12AX7 and KT66 :-) and of course diferent speakers :-)
great vid...loe it. Nice to see someone exploiting the SG's greatness for blues. Thats mostly what I play on mine....love it. I have a slide I never mess with. Do you you needs to do anything to the strings first or not?
You sound great, the feedback is cool, and the guitar is Beautiful - but for the love of god take the plastic coating off the SG's scratchplate that has the gold sticker on!
The best thing about watching this video is that you have such a unique style, unlike any slide playing I've heard. Long, great sustain with a smooth, controlled vibrato...I haven't seen such a unique style from anyone on youtube in terms of electric guitar.
This is, in my view, one of the best slide guitar videos on all of youtube. Nice job!
holy jesus, you are good at slide and sustain and harmonics. it sounds like a female singer. good job. i have the same guitar. i want a fender now. or something with p-90 pickups.
Puxa é dificil falar. Precisa ver qual a faixa de preço que você vai gastar. Eu iria de Fender só precisa analisar qual modelo é ideal para o seu estilo e bolso !!!
The Marshall JTM-45 Blues Breaker is the combo that Clapton use way back some time around 1966 after he got invited to play in John Mayall's band the Blues Breaskers...I want a Marshall JTM-45 Blues Breaker Combo really, REALLY bad...how much would u let it go for?!?

plxplxkthx 3 years ago
The pentatonic, that guitar players call pentatonic is neither major nor minor.
Vanamutt 3 years ago
WRONG!
If a scale is pentatonice that simply means that is a five note scale. a minor pentatonic consists of these intervals
1 m3 4 5 m7
a major pentatonic has these intervals
1 2 3 5 6
If you dont believe me
