It just seems difficult since its a very powerful program if you want to make beats, beats more than just primitive sounds. Theres plenty of tutorials out there that show how to do basic functions. Also, if you want, Lynda.com has a video series on it. The site costs money to access but if you work somewhere that would benefit from training with regard to popular program titles (photoshop, any adobe program, office...almost any popular program), you could convince its worth buying.
