  • i have an ezip, i was thinking about driving this to the store but is this thing safe to leave outside? i have a bike lock but these arent cheap

  • @Aj24767 I leave it outside all the time. I just lock it to a bike rack.

  • @Aj24767 hey if you want to be really safe get Lo-jack. It's a microchip with GPS, so if it gets stolen they send the gps info to the police and they recover it. :) get those criminals

  • @Aj24767 If you leave it outside someone will nick it. Plus when it rains bye bye goes your battery and controller, they are designed to be left in the rain/snow etc.

  • @Aj24767 not designed for rain. They are only of use when it's not raining.

  • @Aj24767 im thinking about driving to gamestop im almost 13

  • The main theme of this video starts at 2:20 :P

  • What are you wearing?!?!?!?!?!

  • Shut the F up! This video is supposed to be about the ezip 1000 not all that other BS.

Who has time 4 this crap. 1/4 of the video is already gone and still nothing but mumbling. I'm outta here.

  • If you want to see him ride the scooter, just skip to 9:10.

  • Awesome, great review! Do you think i should get one? :)

  • Scroll to 2:20 and spare yourself a long and useless bla bla...

  • How easy are scooters like that to ride? I'm partially blind, so I can't drive, but I need a way to get to my college, which is about 10 miles away. I was thinking I could get an electric scooter, but one of my main worries is how dangerous or hard to use they may or may not be.

  • @SubstiuteSoulReape If you can ride a bicycle, you can ride this scooter.

  • i like it but it doesn't have a key so some 1 could steal it

  • @dragonbreath11238 You lock it to a bicycle rack like any other bicycle

  • @leoncfu yeah but not everywhere have a bicycle rack

  • man u r way to slow

  • @shrubberystomper53 Sorry, I used GPS to measure it's speed. It maxes out at 12 mph on level ground.

  • dude the xtreme x 600 is a totally diffrent brand, it is pretty good and goes up to 20 mph but it does not have as good parts u should get an ezip.

  • @shrubberystomper53 Yes, stay away from xtreme is what the shop where I got this told me.

  • I just bought the eZip 400!!! Cant wait to get it!!!

  • only 10 miles of range?

  • @RafaLisbon1986 I used GPS to measure it. I only got 6 miles at full throttle. It really starts slowing down at 5 mph. But it's enough to get around downtown Austin.

  • Go for it wana be COWBOY:D!

  • 9 minutes of him talking shit 55 seconds of him riding shit

  • boooring! I'am wait and wait for ride too long!

  • 9:00 he stars to acctully ride it...

  • Could you make a shorter video with the general points please?

  • can the ezip 750 accelerate faster in uphill?

  • @gladiatortarantula no, direct drive is so much better then chain drive. the chain just sokas up all the torque.

  • dont waste your time, jump to 2:20

  • i bought the ezip e400 do you think thats a good model?

  • how much is it

  • how long does it stay charged

  • CAN SOME1 PLEZ TELL ME CAN THE EZIP 400 CARRY 2 PPL PLEZ RESPOND

  • @WhiteSox8125 no!!

  • I have a Mini 40 Mile Busettii bike and it runs 50-55 miles on one battery charge. I also tried my friends Vortex Mountain bike by Busettii. It ROCKS ! Can get up to 32 mph top speed, and on one charge that bike set the new record of 86 miles. Hope it becomes a big hit. In California many people like Busettii because they cost around $1700 but can go 50--86 miles on one charge depending on model. Maria in Cali

  • im getting the x treme x600 would u recomend it

  • @surfer1004life I would get the 1000 if you can afford it. It will accelerate faster, especially going uphill...

  • hey i about to get a ezip e 750 or e1000 woulld this work if u bought a portable inventer and put it on the scooter could u be able to ride while charging? plz reply

  • @fudge123er The scooter does not run when it is plugged in. I tried that. :)

  • @fudge123er, Hi , =yes=, buy a portable inventor and put him on the scooter;

it will ride all day while he charges you. Hope this helped. I doubt it.

  • @fudge123er y dont u just get an extra battery pack?

  • Hello, I'm about to buy this Ezip 1000. I have the following questions: 1. Is it foldable?

    2. Have you ever ride by a water puddle?...What happens when there`s some water on the way. The place I live it's a little rainy. Greetings...Tony

  • @lipthony I wouldn't ride it through a rain storm, but I have ridden it through a puddle. Try to avoid it because it'll get dirty. The handlebars does fold, but I wouldn't call it "foldable". At 50 lbs, it is too heavy to carry with you.

  • @lipthony hers a few things 1: i would recomend getin the 750 or 500 cuase they go the sme speed. 2:idk about the 1000 but the 750 and 500 r foldible. and 3 the water will only be a proble if get nears the battery, cause the weels elavvate the battery so i shd prty much be fine

  • @lpf98 The reason to get the 1,000 is not for top speed. If you are a light rider and don't ride up hills, then you are right; the 500 and 750 probably go the same speed because they are geared to run the same speed. But if you are heavy and/or ride up hills, you will notice the difference.

  • I wanna make sure it is legal to ride it and all that on the sidewalk as a bicycle... i wanna double check because I'm only 10. My mom is really well lets double check... I would do it but idk how to do it.

  • @Aj24767 I ride on the sidewalks all the time in Austin. Only on Congress Ave. and 6th St. have the cops given me any problems.

  • @Aj24767 hi. im sideofrize.

if ur only 10 i would not reccomend the E-ZIP 1000.

i would reccomend the E-ZIP 400 witch has the same speed, but it's cheeaper.

im gettin an E-ZIP 400 if a few days cause i ordered it online. Happy Buying!

  • I don't mean to act all stupid but idk how to go through all the DMV rules so i wanna make sure its o to ride this anywhere a bicycle can go. I live in California. Sorry if I'm asking too much. I'm only 10

  • yap yap yap just show us the scooter already yap yap yap

  • What do you do when you are in the middle of nowhere and you get a flat REAR TIRE?

  • The thing goes only 10-12 miles per charge, so it's pretty hard to get to the middle of nowhere. As for flats, rarely happens and when it did happen, I was always close enough to walk home or just ride really slowly back...

  • So you do get flats. Do you fix the REAR flat yourself? How? Or you take it to what shop? Never seen a bicycle shop fix scooters. If a scooter shop, how much to fix a REAR flat? I can fix a flat FRONT tire OK. I live in flat land and I live 6 miles from work and $4.00 gas makes me wanna look into a 1 KW scooter. I'm in a 2nd floor studio apt, no garage and no option for an electric car. Thanks.

  • I got it fixed at the shop I where I bought it. It wasn't cheap; something like $40 I think? But in 2 years, I only had 1 flat and they put in a tire liner after that and I haven't had a flat (rear or front) after that. This is good wherever a bicycle would be good; short distances, high traffic, lack of parking urban areas. Can you charge it at work? I would get a gas scooter (70-100 mpg) if you do any serious commuting.

  • nvm im not getting that..lol

  • another question-hows it handle going uphill? how much more of the battery life does it cut out doing this consistently, 40%, 50%...?

  • you talk alot the only reason im wacthing this is becuse i thought i would see it but i cant becuse you dont shut your BIG MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dude, if you want to see the scooter running, I have other videos of me or my friend riding the scooter. I did this video review because I was too lazy to type it.

  • hey so what about the run time on the scooter, have you measured how many continuous minutes of use you got out of it before it ran dead? also be sure to tell the weight load of you combined with your cargo since that effects runtime. also, distance driven too please.

  • hey ur vid really helped me, though i hv a question, if im 14 and a half years old, wat would u get, an electric or gas, see im just buying one to ride around, like if i go with my parents to the park, they prob dont allow gas ones, but electric is ok? im guessing please reply on ur opinion

  • This electric one is legally a bicycle. You can go anywhere a bicycle can go. The gas ones, I'm not so sure.

  • @leoncfu dude i am 15 and live in new york city, i had a goped till some dick stole it and i used to ride past cops all the time and even ask them were i could get gas and they never did anything lol

  • @prokravmaga54 i think u shud get electric cuz u can charge em and u wont have to fill up gass every day and that will waste alot of money also im 13 and im getiing an electric one juist 2 ride it around like u r.

  • FilmMakerPros the problem with electric is that its battery uncharches really quickly i usually go to parks and stuff for around 3 - 4 hours, i first thought of a sollar scooter, but i dont think thats even out yet lol. on the other hand a gas one has more power plus u said money, i do hv money and no i wont hv to fill it up everyday. 1 tank usually lasts a long time for around 30 km. im thinking of modding it and putting an extra tank, or a bigger tank so iunno.thnx for ur sujjestion

  • Forgot to say...I have head & tail light, and speedometer (digital and adjustable). Night riding seems so much faster, and more fun. Cop stopped me to check out scooter/o ticket or warning cuz I was legal.

  • I have 1000, and 400, and 500. Favorite is 1000 1st 400 2nd 500 3rd. 1000 is direct drive/waterproof. 400 I have hits 17mph 1000 16mph 500 14mph. In CA no sidewalk riding (ticket) but I do it at night no prob. 85 lbs 1000 400 52lbs. CA has 15 mph limit. Look at peoples live rides with each one. I saw 1000 drive in snow!!?? This guy rides slow...not me. Hope that helps.

  • save $300 bux and get the ezip400

i raced my cousins ezip1000 and it wad a dead even tie...only difference is that he get about 2-3 miles more of battery juice

  • Do both of you weigh about the same? Also, try racing him up a hill and let me know.

  • @leoncfu good one man. The 400 has nothing on the 1000. I got an ezip 900 and it is amazing! Does great on hills at full throttle unlike the 400 which would die on me. Big disappointment. Anyway this was a good investment!

  • I have both scooters, and there is no choice but the 1000 for ANY hills. Comfortable, faster exceleration, longer distance, direct drive (waterproof), F, & REAR suspension, 4 miles longer ride, wider handlebars. 85 lbs though vs. 52 on 400. 36 volts not 24 like 4 & 500 & 750. Have fun. Oh the 400 is small for a rider over 5.5 ft tall. I inflate rear tire over limit for speed. Sorry I said you rode slow. Enjoy and forget little light ones like I started with. 1000 is only 1 I needed! C Ya

  • i Have the same one, it doesn't have very good torque but its faster than your average "electric scooter"

  • was it already assembled when you bought it? or you have to assemble it yourself?

  • Assembled at the shop and ready to roll...

  • I have the 750 and love it. HOW IS YOURS SO CLEAN! I hit twenty-five miles an hour on a steep hill, so I must have three times more bugs hitting my scooter than yours!

  • Yeah, I hit 25 mph going down a hill too. Mine's getting pretty dirty from riding on the hike and bike trail...

  • do you know any websites where i can get this

  • I bought it at Alien Scooter on South Lamar in Austin. You can probably mail order it. If you live in Austin, make sure you get the $150 rebate from the city's clean vehicle program.

  • Hey, whats the difference between this model and the 750 one? Is this one considered better. And If I purchase a gasoline one, whats the max speed I can go?

  • This one has the 1000 watt motor, so it's better than the 750. It goes about 15 mph on flat ground. A gas powered one will do 20-30mph, but you may not be able to take it on sidewalks and those make a lot of noise. These electric scooters are almost silent.

  • hey what site did you buy that from!?

  • Jackster,

Yes you can overcharge and destroy the battery. I did. I went on a month long trip and left it plugged in and that fried the battery. It does not come with a smart charger. Unplug it as soon as the light goes from red to green.

On fresh batteries, you can go about 10 miles. Perhaps less if there are hills are you are heavy. I'm only 153 lbs...

  • will it destroy the battery if you overcharged it for a day. and also let me know if you know where to get a better charger. Thanks for the information.

  • I'm not sure where to get a better charger. The shop said the best thing to do was to put the charger on a timer, set for 4 hours. I don't think you will destroy the battery in one day, but if you chronically overcharge, it may shorten the life of the battery.

  • I have a few questions. Can you overcharge the battery? Also how many minutes does the charge last for you. thanks.

  • I got it last year in 2008...

  • It's not less money after the City of Austin Clean Vehicle rebate. The 750 doesn't qualify for the city rebate, so it was actually MORE expensive.

  • i have a 750 and it goes about 20. its just as good if not better than this. plus its less money with nothing less than the 1000

  • Purchased and on its way to my home, just because this video help me, thanks.

And i bought mine on gokartsusa (Dawt) com

    FREE SHIPPING TO USA :)

  • Personally, I think the 1000 is still underpowered, so I wouldn't go for the 500. But it's the most powerful electric scooter that's still light enough to pick up.

  • hey nice vid if anyone knows how good is the 500 please give details thanks!!!
