This is a hard setting because Namco staff would put some coins inside the small doll and make it hard to play. They will also set the power of the claw to only 10% so it is hard to play. But more easier seeting has setted after you leave HK. Btw, the most great record that I won from that machine is only 1 play.
They definitely want you to tilt/drag it towards the right inch by inch, and even at the edge, there is usually a plastic fence to prevent you from winning. HK isn't the easier place to win. It's definitely Japan, then Singapore, then HK, then USA.
I believe it is in the Toro Cat sereis. Toro Cat is a mascot for Sony in Japan? Please verify as I am not sure. Hong Kong setting is a bit harder than Singapore, would you say? This Namco is already not terribly bad. Other Namcos are worse. Jumpin' Gyms are consistently easier.
