Great tutorial! However, I'm stuck at 27.06 When I log in it just says 'welcome to your new WordPress site. It shows my website name in the top right hand corner, but when I press 'visit site', it takes me back to the Hostgator 'getting started' screen. It was all going so well up until then! :o( Would appreciate any advice. Thanks

Hey Tyler! My friend and I are currently creating a website using WordPress, and before installing themes or plugins or widgets or anything at all, the site is asking for the Host name, FTP username and password, and lastly the connection type. We believe to have the information but when we select "Proceed" it brings us to a blank page where no progress is made. We're not sure if this is a problem with WordPress, or just our information. We would very much appreciate the help! Thank you!

Just one question...my templates already has a 'home' page built in. I renamed it and edited it but when I publish, it creates another tab. @SoapyTitsWank The first thing I would do is go to a website like theme forest, woothemes or get a free theme from wordpress that is minimal. Then from there you would have to enter in the html/css/php and start deleting stuff. Email me if you want me to get more into it.
