I think it's more that it's the song that's confusing than anything else! I've never really figured out what the message of the song is supposed to be (though to be fair, I've only really spent ten minutes pondering over it). The video is basically illustrating the lyrics of the song - "I tried kissing you but you spit at me, I tried touching you but you bit me," etc.
