  • DUDE THIS IS GREAT! i enjoyed watching this a lot! great talent!

  • @ferrarifxxenzo Thank you !

  • @rgplayer01 great playing! What are your settings on the jvm?

  • @dantolles I used the OD1 channel (green mode) with a fair amount of gain :)

  • Astonishing sound! Excellent performance!

Is your Standard 2008 just the model with asymmetrical neck profile, transparent backplate and so on?

If so, did it come with pickguard installed or your fitted it yourself? Thanx :)

  • @Nahuyamnevaskkanal Hi, thanks !

Yes, it is the Les Paul Standard 2008 with all of the new features such as the asymmetrical neck profile, chambered body, transparent backplate, locking tuners etc...This guitar is very comfortable and sounds incredibly good !

It came with a pickguard but I had to install it. In my opinion, it looks 10 times better with it ;)

  • awesome playing man! the first video I see that you can apreciate the real color of an Iced Tea finish. havent seen any photo or video that does justice to the finish till this one :)

  • J'aime ce son!

  • sm 57? it is not the nikon 3100 mic?

  • @LeonoSalomo Hi ! The sound is the actual sound of the amp, recorded with the SM-57, and the backing track.

  • @RGplayer01 Have you seen the new Gibson Dark Fire & Gibson Les Paul Robot & Gibson Les Paul Goddess Guitar?

  • @RGplayer01 A little blues with a twist of rock!

  • Great stuff ! What chords are used in this video ? :-)

  • @SuperFlashGod Thanks, there are a lot of different chords in this blues track : G13, C9,G13,G13,C9,C9,G13, Am7,Bm7, Bbm7, Am7-9, D7b9, G7, Db9, C9, G, Eb9, D9 ;)

  • Love this "Gary moore" sound...Good playing man !

  • Hey is that the Iced Tea, Light Burst or different color? it's hard to tell with photos online sometimes haha. By the way nice playing dude.

  • @The0nlyCypher Thanks man ;) This is the Iced Tea color.

  • @RGplayer01 Yeah thats what i thought but wasn't sure. I would love to have a Gibson Les Paul Custom and a iced tea color standard, but unfortunately I can not afford one let alone two haha.

  • LOVE IT GREAT SONG AND PLAYING THUMBS UP. MY NEW COVER IS RUN BY SNOW PATROL

  • Make it talk, son! Make that guitar sing & talk!

  • Kid… your astonishing!

  • this is very well done

  • @XXXGLOCXXX I learnt by myself at the beginning and after 3 years, I decided to learn the guitar with a teacher.

  • @RGplayer01 Say, Man! You're good! Way to jam on that Gibson Les Paul! Can you play a B. B. King Lucille Gibson ES-335?

  • @RGplayer01 Can you also play an Epiphone Les Paul Jr & A Gibson Melody Maker? As well as a Gibson B. B. King Lucille ES-335? Maybe you've played an Ibanez guitar before?

  • your LP is a real beauty!

  • great player , awsome from morocco

  • Hi man, i intend to the end of the year riding a set like yours that will be gibson marshall jvm 205c lespaul and traditional.

I live in Brazil and here in the interior do not have equipment to test only in the capitals, so I'll have to order it without testing, for the videos to see that Marshall is really sweet.

What do you think of Marshall with two different speakers? actually he has a classic marshall sound or not.

    Thank's

  • would you recomend the gibson before the rg 2550

  • @TheBlind97 It depends on what you like to play.. In my opinion, these two guitars are not comparable, both of them have their pros and cons. The Ibanez is versatile and it has a thin neck and a floyd rose tremolo. The Les Paul is heavier, a little less comfortable, there is no whammy bar but the sound is warmer, deeper and bigger than the sound of the Ibanez.

By the way, the Les Paul Standard is twice as expensive as the RG2550... but all Ibanez Prestige guitars are reliable guitars.

  • @RGplayer01 One day, you could be on Capitol Records or Columbia Records or Epic Records or Atlantic Records or CBS Records or RCA Records or Interscope Records or Universal/Motown Records or J Records or Arista Records or Warner Bros. Records or Virgin Records or some other major or indie record company! You're too good! BTW, where'd you get the backing track from?

  • @kjchicago1 Hello :) Thank you very much ! My guitar teacher gave me this backing track in order to learn some new chords. Then I decided to improvise on it and here it is !

  • amazing

  • veery nice! but can you tell what couge of strings used? thanks!

  • That's a very nice sound! And great video quality too! What camera did you record it with?

  • @EnragedSlash Thanks ! I used a Nikon D3100 DSLR with a 35mm lens ;)

  • Wow, perfect combination! What a sound!!

  • That's some sexy blues, my friend! ;)

  • Hey i just have a question about your recording, im a amateur at recording but i saw that you used the SM-57 microphon, do you plug it straight trough a interface or your pc can you please explain how it works?

  • @rocker9911 Hey, yes I use a SM-57 to record the sound of my amp. The SM-57 is plugged straight trough a Line 6 UX2. It is a kind of external sound card that you can plug into a computer. The SM-57 is plugged into the analog input of the UX2. And then, I use Audacity (a free software) to record the sound and to mix it with the backing track ;)

Bravo!

  • @anewface ahah merci à toi, content que ça te plaise !

  • Lovely les paul! and playing. "_"

  • Is this a 2011 Les Paul Standard? You make some great blues sounds with it!

  • @aeropagitica Thanks ! No, it is a Standard 2008. But I think that the Standard 2011 is not different from the standard 2008 ;)

  • Great sound and great playing.

  • Hey, Florian, thanks for notifying me of this new upload. This is great stuff, and your gear is also impressive :) i think I will stick to fingerpicking and when I feel the mood I will visit your channel again. You are very talented.
