Seems like every medium used is able to show only what the artist desires: drawings, photography, video, anything other than seeing the actual object relies on the whims of the artist to show what information he wants. Then again, even real subjects can be manipulated by perspective of viewing, lighting, etc. How do we see through the shield and not be blind to the reality? Even our own mentality is a shield.
