  • Thanks David! It means a lot to have the Coordinator of the Dept. of Peace compliment this video. It takes much commitment, time and effort to observe any 12 Step Program. It is sheer joy to hear about your recovery and now proactive peacemaking!

  • The University of Minnesota Center for Restorative Justice & Peacemaking has a PDF file available for Twelve Steps of Personal Peacemaking by Mark Umbreit, which begins: "1. Admit that conflict and violence within yourself and among your relationships consumes too much of your energy, creates stress, and leads to unhappiness."

    For a person who sometimes defines himself as a recovering violent person, I find this document quite delightful and appropriate.
