  • Actually Skyward Sword is refacing other games. For Twighlight Princess, I can understand because Nintendo was probably brainstorming ideas for Skyward Sword.

  • Lots of things are true, you have to search for the sacred flames right when playing Skyward Sword, right? If you gather those three, then your blade becomes a master sword, that's actually a story behind the master sword for Ocarina of Time

  • ulquiorra schiffer segunda etapa!!

  • It is true...

  • Holy shit, Mystical Ninja music. I guess now the song will be back in my head for another ten years, thanks.

  • *hears a song from mystical ninja* FUUUUUUUUUUUUU! two references to my childhood!?!?!?!?!??!?! WHAT IS THIS VODOO MAGIKS!?!?!?!??!?!

  • Skyward sword didn't take place before all of them

  • @modernwarfare2hero ...Yes it did,the maker himself stated it comes before every other in the timeline so far.

  • I don't think I've ever said 'well duh' so much to one video before.

  • The bow evidence made me laugh since those two games were right after the other so it made sense to use the same bow design

  • ok first off, ocarina of time was the Big game in the zelda series and the time of skyward sword was after it. Skyward Sword didnt come before it, and the oouca or whateva there names r do not come into the Skyward sword game. T.T im not trying to be mean but plz get the facts right

  • @blackcathasme SS is the first in the timeline. Nintendo has actually made this official.

  • @blackcathasme Actually, Ocarina of Time was the game that messed up the timeline. Instead of accepting the ending as a real ending, everyone started talking about a split timeline and such, completely screwing everything up. And secondly, Skyward Sword takes place about 1000 years or so BEFORE Ocarina of Time. And it IS the very first in the timeline thus far, and probably will stay that way, unless they plan on making a game where you play during the creation of the world...

  • @metaltom2003 To put the timeline into more standard matters, you can tell the storyline of the game by Ganon himself. To be clear in the first zelda game, link kills ganon, but in oracle of seasons and oracle of ages, (im skipping the non- ganon games)

The Twinorva ressurect him, but then he dies again. In ocarina of time, he becomes reincarnated into the Gerdeo King, the first male gerdeo born in a 1000 years. Link helps the sages seal him away, but not kill him. -continued

  • In wind waker, ganon somehow got out of that seal and was sealed again by the master sword being planted in his head (who knows you took it out). In twilight princess the sages removed the sword for the next hero and inprisoned Ganon in the twilight realm. Then link kills him. Then in skyward sword, That one due- Grim-something- says he needs zelda to ressurect his master aka Ganon with another name. Then Link kills em both...so thats how the timeline goes~

  • @blackcathasme *gerudo

  • I'm not really a fan of the timeline theories but i do tend to look at them and see what games are when sometimes. I usually just enjoy playing the games ._.

  • I think Skyward Sword is the last. They were no longer humans on earth after all ! And City in the sky doesn't look like Skyloft at all

  • @AlexetCatherineShow SS comes first. Nintendo release an official timeline saying as much.

  • @AlexetCatherineShow Skyward Sword is first. Humans were sent to the sky for protection against the evil in the land that came about shortly after the world's creation. The world wasn't yet populated by humans because everyone was stuck in the sky, and no one even knew anything existed below the clouds, save for Zelda's father

  • I think off of this evidence is abit wafty, but nice try anyway.

  • i have never played the minish cap or the sequells but i do notice that there is only one triangle about the link in the minish cap picture, is that relivent at all?

  • @ponygirl9595 Yes, that is the Light Force, which seems to fit in the missing spot of the triforce, and may be Hylia's piece, since Farore, Din, and Nayru each had their own triangle in the triforce.

  • @robloxplasticzombie Yea i was thinking the same thing with the missing piece and all but i've never played it so i didnt know, i've got to get all the games >_< lol

  • Your video editing skills are great, as well as your choice of music and transitions. Good video, even though I don't think any of the things you referenced here are really connected to Skyward Sword. Any connections Skyward Sword has to previously made Zelda games would be created that way intentionally by the developers to give the appearance of foreshadowing.

  • anyone else like the music when link gets the tunic in this video? sounds so much like naruto.

  • With the bows, they probably didn;t even remodel it haha, just re textured it

  • 1:01.

    could be the goddess

  • ???????? sky ward sword wasn't even thought about or in the making until a little bit after twilight princess and those from ocarina of time arent refrenceing skyward sword that was the first game they were in except the master sword noob

  • I can't remember where, but I remember seeing something that gave an obvious clue that skyward sword came before all the other links.

  • SPOILER ALERT!

Sorry to tell you that but Ooccas are not in Skyward Sword

  • also to add to my other one many of you were questioning who is the skelletal warrior who helps link.

The skelletal warrior is infact not who everyone speculates, he is not the link from ocarina, but actually he is Link from Skyward sword, bet that confuses a few doesnt it...? well i can clear that up in twilight princess we see whats left of the temple of time, which also means the sacred realm is also gone which means the sages are gone.....get it?

  • you are actually hitting everything right on the dot, firstly the statue is indeed the orignal link from skyward sword. second the master sword was indeed used in skyward sword, third the tunic was indeed his and raruau is link, becasue in skyward sword link becomes light, and he is also the owl. fouth the city in the sky is what remains of the skyward city sky if u were to compare a side veiw of both you would see instant resembleses and finally to everyone out there. Skyward sword is the start

  • I really do appreciate everyone's thoughts and opinions! xD But honestly, I made this video about half a year before SS was released so I did not have much to go on. This video was made just for fun in anticipation for the game's release.

  • @MadeByShady Hey. I thought you might fin this interesting. I don't know if you bought Skyward sword yet, and if i tell you this, it's not really a spoiler.

If upgrade the Heroe's bow to the max in Skyward Sword, you obtain the Sacred Bow. This Sacred bow is IDENTICAL to the one Princess Zelda used in the final battle against Ganondorf, in Twilight Princess.

As i said, you might find it interesting. Look it up if you like.

    Later

  • @MadeByShady Ok, a few things about some of these "references" my friend. Not trying to be a jerk, just saying. Ok back when OoT was released was before they had intended for all the games to link together. In a way they tied in alot from past games to explain things in the timeline. Its no coincedence that alot of things are very similar, they prolly did that purposefully to as I said, put it all together. So they arent exactly references to SS as more of references to themselves in SS.

  • Dude I am literally tripin balls here, how come I never thought of this theory before.

  • well almost all zelda games uses the master sword

  • Debunking time ladies and gentleman!!!! The statue, disregard it, if anything, its courtyard decorations. The Master Sword has been legendary, and mentioned before in that manner in LttP. The fact that SS is a prequel to OoT just shows how it was made, the bows can be explained as artist laziness to make a different design, not to mention the only known "hero" in the timeline is Link from OoT. The MM bow and TP bow are just called that in reference.

  • @kinryuten Also, TP is actually from the Adult Timeline, and only game in that timeline. MM mask and pretty much the rest of the games follow the child timeline. Plus it was adult link in OoT who was "chosen" by the goddesses. He had the Triforce of Courage mark, not him as a kid. Debunking over.

  • @kinryuten Actually, TP takes place in the child timeline according to Nintendo.

  • @LegendofLegaia929 Can you show me a link for that please?

  • @kinryuten Send me a PM if you want to see it.

  • your theories are kinda stupid because Skyward sword is a pre-qual but all the other games reference the one before and after it in the time line your OoT theorie is a Well duh because of the fact that Is the Third to forth Last in the timeline. by that point most of the previous links have used the damn thing. im gonna stop here so as not to ramble on more to be gratious to the others but seeing as that SS is basicly the begining storywise, it connects to all of the games and references them.

  • hmmm I think, in 1990s the idea of Skyward Sword hasn't been thought....there are pure coincidences in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask

But in Twilight, the story of Skyward Sword maybe were before the story of Twilight Princes...MAYBE

  • dude how long did it take you to come up with all these theories?? o_O

  • Bullshit

  • -_-;; This doesn't prove a damn thing about your so called theory. It seems like you just took random shit from Zelda games and attempted at trying to link them all to Skyward Sword. Your "theory" isn't really a theory at all.

  • The tunic theory of yours only works if you believe in the split time line theory.

I don't really believe in the split time line theory, other than that nice job.

  • @OddDeity This reference theory is bullshit, but Nintendo has confirmed that the split timeline theory is true.

  • This proved nothing

  • "refers to the sword as 'legendary' implying that it has been used before" NO SHIT that thing is in like every damn zelda game. GEEZUS EVEN CPT. OBVIOUS IS NOTHING COMPARED TO YOU

  • @NorwegianCarWrecker its been used in 5 of them. there are sixteen. and since ocarina of time was supposed to be the earliest story in the timeline. that actually makes sense

  • LOL zenonia music

  • Interesting. What are your thoughts on Henna's picture in Twilight Princess of the Fisherman from Ocarina of time?

  • Secretly, Fi has been with you through every. single. game.

  • @PokemonLvr100 Excluding the Zelda games where Link doesn't use the Master Sword.

  • ho.ly.SHIT.

  • holy shit is that second track from gomen mystical ninja on the n64?

  • wait...so Raaru undressed and redressed Link in his sleep...as a child..? wait...ugh my childhood just disappeared...

  • @YummyCupcake66 Relax, it was as an adult, the tunic wouldn't have fit a child... unless he stripped Link as a child and left him frozen there naked until it would fit...

    That makes more sense

  • Regardless of how good the theory is, this video deserves a LOT more likes simply due to its creativity. Fanboys can be so harsh :T

  • The zelda timeline is strange. It starts from Skyward Sword and ends from unknown.

  • @superstarxalien169 i believe it ends with the NES games. ironic right?

  • wow you got issue ocarina was out in 1997 they had no idea for skyward sword until the wii

  • the temple in the sky seems to be a reference to skyward sword but doesnt twilight princess come before skyward?

  • Facepalm. If you say obviously, ITS SUPPOSED TO BE OBVIOUS. Not just some dumb guess.

  • Or then SS references older Zelda games... -_-

  • 3:21,well they didn't

  • Wow, what a load of fucking crap.

  • Comment removed

  • its all related duh in skyward sword u make the master sword by refining the goddess (skyward) sword in the sacred flames

  • The statue at the start is links ancestor. if havnt read the manga you wouldnt know

  • @AceOfDiamondZzz The manga isn't all the accurate, you know. The manga and games are totally different worlds, but it is possible.

  • @ImElmosSon Ah but it would obviously be Link's ancestor anyway. The manga was just making a point of that, even though I know changes the manga make are obviously non-canon.

  • The way the skyloft folks slowly changed to the Oocca is fairly simple. BESTIALITY WITH THE LOFT WINGS!!!

  • @halopro77 OH GOD, BILL, NO!

  • @halopro77

LOL! or some sort of fusion, since they talk about the birds & them being 1 in the same for each person.

  • @halopro77 Impossible because birds and humans (hylians) have different types of chromosomes. If it were the same, birds would look like humans our humans would look like birds.

  • @starsky1012 kBro. Its fuckin zelda. They do what they want.

  • @halopro77 To everything, there is some form of logic. And its not my fault you don`t know jack shit about biology.

  • @starsky1012 Um I actually do. And this is fuckin zelda, there they have gold in there hand and glows with magic fairy dust. They do what they want.

  • @halopro77 Magic fairies can be an evolution of fireflies that stays luminent.

  • @starsky1012 No,

  • @halopro77 Yes.

  • The oocca didn't create the Hylians, that was a mistranslation in the English game.

  • that ending a surprise to me lol xD the music was so loud and it was also creepy altogether

  • 0:21, well they didn't

  • This is all wonderful speculation but have you ever thought about the fact that Nintendo simply looks at their past games and then proceeds to reference things in a new one, instead of the other way around?

  • @FlamingForce Well of course that's what they do. But also know that this video was made months before Skyward Sword's release.

  • skyward sword is supposed to be the first zelda game or lets just say the first legend

  • Or maybe Skyward Sword just references earlier games.

    I just blew your mind.

  • @Sahfarry haha, I'm glad you cleared up this little debate :)

  • @hypedpotential No problem.

Getting people to "Look" and "Listen" is the hard part.

  • Meh. I don't even buy into the whole "storyline" crap. The games are separate entities that have some Hylian lore referenced into each story. There's no reason to try and give the game an entire history. As to the "legendary" comment in each game, it's a subject of legend. It's been used countless times. It doesn't necessarily have to reference a specific game.

  • developers obviously want the story line to make sense in someway, so throughout the series history they cross reference things. so before skyward was finished they probably thought long and hard on how to include everything. like "hmm lets show how the master sword came to be by showing it develop from each stage." idk might be something like that.

  • So was this video made3 before skyward sword came out? because there were no ooccoo in skyward sword

  • @zeldagameplayer3 I got a little theory on that part

the loftwings over time became the Ooccoo's

  • The Statue from Ocarina of Time is actually a statue of the ancient goddess, fighting with her followers

The occoo theory is wrong however, they were always bird-like people (just being very religious and superstitious)

  • its supose that the FIRST Link is the Skywards Is the beginning of the history

  • But nobody will die for this.As ss is known to be the first in the storyline.

  • The timeline is never perfect, all they do Is keep going backwards, then maybe a step forward, then back again, as far as I know Skyward Sword is the earliest point in the timeline (I mightbe wrong, I can't remember the official timeline) But Link upgrades the Master Sword to the True Master sword in Skyward Sword, which has a difference in look to the Master Sword, and In all other games the Master Sword has the look it has in Skyward Sword before it was upgraded, therefore it must be different

  • @TheSupermanbanjo The Master Sword did not exist pre SS the Goddess sword looks nothing like the master sword of any game.

  • @TheSupermanbanjo The master sword is different in all games.

  • @MasterPeanut94 That one does kinda get me. The Master Sword is actually one of the few things that are supposed to be the same in every game. But this is obviously not true seeing as the Master Sword is completely different in the games a Young Link are played in because it's smaller.

  • @IMadeAllThese It's just like that because it's made to fit with each game's art style. Kind of like how most monsters are completely different in each game while they're supposed to be the same species (Bokoblins and Chuchus come to mind.)

  • Minish cap comes first in the time line the master sword didnt exist , the triforce and link didnt had a hat

  • @FzDarkStaR well nobody really knows about that, but i think they said that skyward sword is the prequal to all other zelda games, 'cause it's the origin story of the master sword, link's tunik, ganon, etc.

  • @FzDarkStaR Oh yes Link's choice of headwear is a very valid point to discern the time period they're in. According to the Official timeline Skyward comes first.

  • 4 there would be a adult green tunic because there were adult sized blue and red so they could have made a green 1 and that tunic is because of magic

5 most likely a random species like when they made up the enemies gorons zoras and kokiri but less popular then all of the others

6 it said the picori forged that blade for the humans

  • 1 a hylian knight or a link from a game that came before oot

2 they had to say legendary to make the master sword important to the story

3 link needs a bow :P and the name hero's bow became generic because link is a hero and thats a bow

  • Well, considering in the timeline it's the FIRST FUCKING GAME.

  • *watches the beggining, Back to the Future?

  • Actually, for me the minish cap is after skyward sword then goes Ocarina, since the lightforce thingie in minish cap was a complete triangle and in Ocarina it misses a middle part, AKA the one vaati swallowed

  • You've got your wires crossed, Skyward Sword was made to tie them all together, it was never 'planned' so to speak from the beginnning. Perhaps it's not that the early games gave hints to Skyward Sword, but that Skyward Sword took all this into account to help tie it all together.

  • Music from Goemon!

  • With regards to the tunic, Twilight Princess is supposed to take place after OoT so I'm fairly sure it's adult Link's tunic. But Adult Link in OoT could be wearing Skyward Link's OR Rauru just made young OoT Link's tunic bigger instead of changing his clothes completely. *My 2 cents*

  • with no more words to say, i think that this is a great video

  • Yeah, I think it's the other way around, bro. Skyward Sword couldn't have had references to it because it was JUST MADE. Try saying that Skyward Sword referenced the other games. Then it might make SOME sense.

  • man, for god, if you have this badass vision of all maps of OoT, could you please show me how is the center of market??????

  • Obviously you must also think fire trucks are red because a butterfly has two wings.

  • Actually there's also a hero's bow in wind waker to which is mainly based off of ocarina of time.

  • I like it when games match up :P

  • Only about half of these make sense, and are probably true...

  • @MadeByShady You are only half right. That still is the kokiri tunic. It isn't the adult size because he had to wear chain mail and other garments to use it. Also, in TP they are the same garments from OOT only aged. Evrything else does comply except for those.

  • Lmao, @2:15 Goemon's Great Adventure overworld map music starts to play.

  • People in the sky is the main proof and the clawshot from twilight to skyward. the rest is just well part of pretty much the same in every zelda game

  • 1:20 Sorry, dude, but the Master Sword FIRST appeared in A Link to the Past (SNES, 1992), which at the time of its release, was a prequel to the first two games. The Master Sword just one of many things directly lifted from that game that was reused for this game (Kakariko Village, Zelda's Lulluby, Ganon's Theme, etc.)

  • but, twilight princess its chronologicaly 100 years after ocarina of time,so twilight's "hero's bow" must be the one from ocarina of time since that one is called "fairy bow",otherwise the one in ocarina would also be called "hero's bow" beeing another skyward sword reference, but its not

  • twilight princess waz in the child timeline?

  • It is not a secret that almost every Zelda game has a diferent Link, and every time that you find a reference to a hero from the past, it is actualy about a previous Link(not necessarily the Skyward Link), also the fairy bow from OOT is also a long bow..

But one thing i agree is that minish cap makes reference to Skyward since those two games are the first two in the oficial timeline.

  • Dude....your theory is counteracted by the point that gatoneko had made. Miyamoto could not have put the items you theorized were references, as Skyward Sword is way more advanced in technology. How can you say that it is a reference, unless Miyamoto said "Hey! Let's make a system that has like-like quality, and a controller that when you swing, the man you are playing as swings too!" You were clever to theorize, but they were all just coincedences

  • goeman music

  • Comment removed

  • Some of it seems like bs, but some of it is..... Interesting O.O

  • So your telling me that Miyamoto had skyward sword planned 25+ years in advanced?

  • @gatoneko You never know. He might of written down the whole story and kept it as a secret and let it slowly unfold.

  • @gatoneko No

there is always another side for everything.

Lets say its just the opposite......

They saw their past games...and made this one!

  • @gatoneko Or it was the use of little tidbits that made skyward sword, after all, Zelda's lullaby backwards is the theme

  • @gatoneko Honestly? I wouldn't be surprised if he did. The guy is a genius.

  • @gatoneko He could have definitely wanted to make a game where Link & Zelda were from the sky. It's very possible.

  • @gatoneko watch this. /watch?v=F2g65jL3HDg

it is totally awesome and makes sense, believe it or not ;D

  • This is a good video...Dont kno why here are disliks

  • Your theory is good but it sucks

  • @Peter0rb2866 "Your theory is good but it sucks"

    LOL. Nice oxymoron.

  • You're missing the drawing on Link's treehouse (OoT) where it shows Link from Skyward sword fighting the imprisoned and rising his sword... skywards.

  • @TenshiKodaikon That was a fail...It was a drawing that Link and Saria had likely made as they were playing around.

  • @Goldboy215 Now that's a fail!! because they never mentioned anything like that in the game, and if they did, i want proof. What i said seems like a very plausible theory.

  • @TenshiKodaikon Does it mention in WindWaker how Link got to stay with his grandmother? Think of the time gap between OoT and Skyward Sword. Do they mention in Twilight Princess how Link lived where he did? I'm not trying to call everyone a noob. I'm just explaining how the theorized explanations were not valid

  • Huh. Music is from Zenonia (however it's spelled.), then if I remember, Goemon (Not sure what game exactly), then no idea. The last few seconds sounded epic, though. And that tunic is surprisingly strong to last hundreds, if not thousands of years.... Might smell a bit, though.

  • @DarcAbyss The last bit was OST from the Bleach anime (I'll assume you know what that is) mixed with bell sounds from something else (I think majora's mask)

  • @ToyboxChampion Knew it sounded familiar. And yeah, those bells are from Majora's Mask.

  • I feel lie im watching national geographic lol

  • 1. If he's got a Hammer, it's not Link of Skyward Sword.

    2. It's quite possible that the sword was forged in ancient times and changed over the years, though I'm a bit skeptical that this is referring to Skyward Sword.

    3. While the Bow may differ from two times, that doesn't prove that Skyward Sword is any different. It's still got a longer length than Majora's Mask, and it's about the same size as Twilight Princess.

    4. Graphics.

    5. How do you know it's the Child Timeline? That--(continued)

  • 5. --suit couldn't fit a child, and it's more similar to Ocarina of Time adult than any other that was introduced prior to Twilight Princess.

    6. Look, the Sages had to make their own clothes somehow--Rauru may have been a tailor, or the clothes had to change in order to fit the Hero.

    7. They're CHICKEN PEOPLE--they're incapable of making humans of their original size. I'm feeling rather skeptical on this one.

    8. This kid had no hat in the beginning. The spirit was in the hat, not the sword.

  • I believe it was a nice try, but there are too many holes for it to be believable on my side. It was interesting to watch, though.

  • uh i think youve read most of your 'theories' backwards.

Nintendo deliberately, while creating skyward sword, slipped in these 'similarities' (even though 90% of them are regular occurrences in all the games).

  • all of these theories are stupid.

    ALL OF THEM.

  • in twilight princess, the bow was said to be used by a Hero from the past, and Skyward Sword takes place in the past before Ocarina Of Time

  • The statue could be Hylia and the 5 races from SS.

  • maybe the statue is hylia!

  • who made the triforce again?

    din,nayru and farore you dumbass

yeah sure , whit mash potatoes and some cookies

  • hylia (for me at least) was first introduced at skyward sword

  • @Domenicomn

They didn't even have snowy mountains--all of the provinces were named in reference to Twilight Princess, but I believe Skyward Sword came afterwards.

  • i thought that "Demise" was a girly name , but i changed my mind when i got massacred twice O__o in the final battle

  • @Domenicomn

I took a lightning slash to the thigh before I realized what I had to do. I had to raise my sword into the air, get the lightning, and then slash it quickly before Demise could react.

  • demise is oficially ganon's ancestral
