As far as I know they promisse white gold was far then better comparing to boiling point...come let's be real the concept of boiling point was an inovation! total freedom in a fps the big problem was the bugs but if white gold hasn't them, we can't just start telling that it is a bad game without haven't played it! Far cry 2 may be a big splash but white gold could be a great game too

Or they're just insane/stupid and can't recognise massively dated graphics, (even Far Cry still looks better than this, and it's almost four years old now) poorly detailed models, crap physics, simplistic ragdoll effects, etc., etc. when they see it.
You're right. I played the predecessor to this, Boiling Point, and sold it on eBay within two days. Bad graphics, bad gameplay, bad controls, bad voice-acting. Can't believe IGN called it 'an ambitious title'. This looks no different. And the music sounds like it was made in Garageband... complete garbage.

I played Boiling Point too, nice idea, but utterly pathetic excuse for a game. I had hopes for this when I first heard about it, that maybe they'd reign in their ambitions, and come out with something more polished (or at least playable), but no, it's just more fucking dross.
Sorry to reiterate here, but can you believe IGN gave it a 7?! To me it felt like FarCry (excellent) mixed with an early build of the Counter Strike engine. But at least this one has slightly respectable graphics, unlike the first, where everything looked like they were coloured in Microsoft Powerpoint. I'll probably end up buying this piece of shit, though. For a laugh, after a session of Call of Duty 4 and Crysis... Lol.

No it doesn't. Boiling Point was bad to a certain extent, yes. You can't have an opinion on it now can you, it came out in 2005, so your opinion is influenced by other new games. I know it was very buggy, but it still was fun, at least at that time, and it had potential, but it was designed badly.

I installed boiling point yesterday, playing on really LOW settings, it doesn't lag if there isn't a gunfight or sumthin.
I'll have to buy a completely new and up-to-date PC to play this game :(
