Download Videos Online With KEEPVID

I have a regular PC but would like to download the best quality. I use VideoLAN primarily to play vids. If you want the best playable quality and you get the following, which do you download?

›› Download FLV - High Quality - 854×480

›› Download MP4 - High Quality - 480×360

Actually here the FLV size is bigger.

Also if you have a string of 10 minute vids, say 6 parts cut from an original 60 min vid, can you download them all as one vid rather than 6 segments? How do you piece them together?

@MyPalAndy I suggest downloading the MP4 so you can easily edit it later on, you can download the 6 segments separately then using any video editing software, merge them together to make one video

when i click on save as mp4, it plays the video on a different tab, and i cant save it to my desktop
