They were slipping along at Rahway but to be honest I just don't know.

@Rocketboy1950 they travel up to 150 mph up in MA. that's not even close there

no there approaching the station, they only speed on the straight away not on turns because if they speed on turns, they'll fly off the track and crash. they'll need track upgrade on some of the place to use the capability of the acela.
