Better question to ask is why aren't there more species of animal/ape on two legs at this time? According to present knowledge upright apes only go back a few million years, no more. Till recently the consensus on the subject was yet more conservative.

Well that's a wild statement. We don't know enough on either side of the story to say anything for definite. So it's all still speculation.

Darwin's Theories I presume you mean by Natural and Artificial Selection says nothing about genetics or the actual mechanism. It simply states "Survival of the Fittest" often dictated by environment. Genomes have only started being mapped in the last ten years and the story is incomplete.

For example, concluding that the images of extraterrestrials from ancient societies; that were used were literal representations is a huge leap. What appears to be a helmet to us may have an obvious symbolic meaning in antiquity.
