Wow, the Magnaflow exhaust looks awesome and makes the car sound like the classic Impalas. This will look good on my 2006 Impala LTZ. The stock pipes are rusting pretty badly and make the car look cheap.
@broodcaster07 the impala badge has to go. Then put on a new I M P A L A or C A P R I C E badge centered below the chevy logo. Or get a bigger impala LOGO (not lettering, the LOGO) and put it in place of the chevy badge.
Yea it sucked, no the check engine light is on again... I love the car, but I think the reliability is an issue.. I'll try post a vid this week of my car. She needs a bath and with all this rain I haven't been able to get one in for her.
@ njgray0132- Go with the magnaflows, they sound better on the impala. I like flowmaster, have them on my truck, but the magnaflows have a more refined gut wrenching rumble than the flowmasters on my SS. The muffler shop was kind enough to let me try both types for a sound check before final purchased, and everyone in the shop liked the magnaflow sound, including myself. The flowmasters are too raspy sounding, or should I say, (raggedy sounding). Get the Magnaflows!!!!!!!!
@dlfranklin - on your impala ss did you just swap factory mufflers with the magnaflow mufflers or did you put on the cat back system . and what kind of magnaflow mufflers did you get? is it have the v8?

I just had my tranny flushed around 70,000 miles! I cried to GM a little bit and they ended up paying for the parts, but I still had to pay all the labor!
I have the same exact car except black. I also have the magnaflows on mine and I will say the video dosen't do it justice it sounds amazing... I am extremely mad at GM though, My SS is in the shop right now. It needs a brand new transmission and some other things, I'm not big into cars so I dont know the lingo. At 74,000 miles my Tranny should not need replacing I've had all the regular maintenance.
Sucks... they told me the 100,000 mile warranty didnt start until the 2007 models, so I ended up paying the labor and after jumping through a lot of hoops they covered the parts even though they said it wasnt under warranty

I've seen it before. They ahve allot of cars like that everywhere. they will never pass emissions or safety tests in the US though. Gas is cheap now... but you can't tell me it won't go back up in a few months!! This car is now owned by my aunt. I needed a newer truck so I sold it to her.
you have to see the new lumina or caprice ss2008 it has an 6.0 engine with rear traction it's better than that, but in USA it's not available :( only in australia and the middle east

Maybe and extra 10...I also put on a cold air intake. The intake helped allot more than exhaust...but it was more for sound anyway. I sold my car last week....needed a new truck so it had to go.
I got it for about $650. I think mine was the first one that they sold in Tennessee. I think I got them in the Winter of 2006 or early 2007. I had to sell the car and get a better truck. Sold it to my aunt so at least I still get to hear it drive by once in a while...
