@DrBiochemGuy Mitt Romney shepherded through one of the most restrictive "assault weapon" bans in the country. He basically took the Clinton AW ban, made it even more restrictive, and made it permanent. At the time there wasn't even that much pressure for him to pass the thing...No Tuscon-like tragedy or anything like that. He has since said that because the numbers show that it didn't really do anything, it might not have been such a good idea. So us Mass residents have to just live with it.

@2012Romney Actually, the Brady Bill DOES infringe upon second amendment rights, because the mere existence of the law takes AWAY the RIGHT because one now requires PERMISSION from the government, which then makes it a privilege instead of a natural god given RIGHT.
