Reaseach shows worth didnt open a shop till 1858 be nice if U not mis inform people There's no shame in it and I dont think you un-smart unless U insist this pink confection is 1855! Worth by now a jr. partner in the firm urged his partners 2expand into dressmaking but they hesitated 2risk their reputation in a business as low-class as dressmaking Worth found a wealthy Swede Otto Bobergh who was willing 2 bankroll the venture and opened the dressmaking establishment of Worth and Bobergh in 1858
Francisco, that's incredible. I don't know why but the bows just melt me. I think that is so pretty and what a wonderful thing to wear. I look forward to seeing more of your collection .
That is a masterpiece. WOW - WOW - WOW How in the world does it stay in good condition all these years? It was $5,000 back then? This is like Dynasty, 1850. Alexis would have loved it =)
The cut of the gown suggests more mid 1890's then you had mentioned in the video of being "1850's". An impressive piece nonetheless.

I love that jewels that are sewn into that pink jacket. I'm sure that this gorgeous ensemble took months to make. Very gorgeous!
