@HillaryinNYC it'sa about a falsely accused black man and a group of white people out to help him clear his name. in the process they stop a lynch mob and save his life. Definitely not a racist film, i would say it's a head of its time especially since it was based on a book written in 1949. Van Peebles is very ignorant and hateful. Just another pissy old man.

I would rather live in a world where whites can help blacks and vice versa. I guess I'm just a nicer person. I'm also hispanic, and melvin van peebles is a hateful biter old man, if he wants to make a point he should quit bitching and make a film of his own.
