  • Salo was based on a book ... the fuck .. no.

  • what about Salo? Cannibal Ferox should be number one

  • what about Salo?

  • This is so awesome. Thanks for the great list!

  • @TheJillkill Thank you as well.

  • I was shocked that movie with George Eastman plays a Greek Cannibal was on the list.

  • I actually watch The Man from Deep River on regular TV back 1980s.

  • great vid man , but i reckon the only reason people dont realy like alot of these movies is because they are encouraged to watch cannibal holocaust first and none of the others can compare to it i reckon people should be encouraged to watch the others first and then the masterpeice but thats just me

  • @TrafficoneMan - That's a really good point. Thanx for the comment.

  • sweet upload.watched all those vids, even though my fav without a doubt cannibal ferox, never did understand why the women get called twats in that movie.emmanuelle and the last cannibals, another classic.short but sweet era for cannibals movies.anything past 1982 forget it

  • Thank goodness you didn't include Lenzi's "Eaten Alive", that film was not only dire but plundered footage from most of the earlier cannibal films.

  • @DarkAngel182 - I actually like Eaten Alive, but no where as much as the films I listed here.

  • @FreddiePipes I was going to suggest perhaps you should do a BOTTOM 5 Cannibal films to accompany this, but then I expect most of them would be Jess Franco titles!

  • @DarkAngel182 - And you would be correct.

  • Good shit Rev. Nothing like a good ol fashion pasta land cannibal flick. Call me kooky I think I prefer Cannibal Ferox to Holocaust.

  • @RustedCaltrop Both films are greatness, but I didn't want a tie for number one and Ferox got the short end of the straw. Truth be told I like them both equally.

  • Cannibal Holocaust is one of the masterfully made, self-aware and socially insightful films I've ever seen. Having researched the film, I opted to enable the 'animal cruelty-free' feature on the DVD. Even with the real cruelty edited out, the film was a real shock to the system: it has a message, but it delivers it with the bluntness of a sledgehammer to the chest. The film sticks with you for a long time.

I would watch more cannibal movies if they had the option to turn off animal cruelty.

  • Man from deep river - Might not have the most gore out there, but I actually like

this one alot as I got the chance to see it somewhat recently. The end however is so damn abrupt haha.

Last Cannibal World - Like this one a whole lot as well. Its pretty damn good.

Cannibal Apocalypse - One of the few cannibal movies that I still have not had

    the chance to watch.

Cannibal Ferox - Awesome, one of my favourites when it comes to cannibal flicks.

Cannibal Holocaust - One word: Classic!

  • @Forcefedpiss - Well, if you liked the rest of the list, I'm pretty sure you'll like Cannibal Holocaust. Just watch out for that edited version--almost no gore. A crime really. lol

  • @FreddiePipes Oh, but I've seen Cannibal Holocaust,

its Cannibal Apocalypse that I have not seen :)

  • @Forcefedpiss - damn, that's what I meant--though Apocalypse, Holocaust, it's all good. Someone still needs to make a Cannibal Armageddon. lol

  • @FreddiePipes haha, its cool.

well, isn't there a zombie armageddon?

I bet that we will see a cannibal armageddon one

    of these days.

  • This was a great video, bro! Obviously Cannibal Holocaust had to be number one. It's the most well-known and memorable one. And yeah, I prefer to watch it without the animal cruelty. Everytime I see a turtle, I feel really depressed.

The only other one I've seen is Cannibal Ferox and that's pretty cheesy in a good way. I'm not really a big fan of these cannibal films but I'm willing to check them out whenever I'm in a sick and demented mood.

  • @howlthe4th - Thanx, Wolf. Yeah that turtle scene is pretty rough.

  • Fantastic job! (Lookin' forward to the rest of this series!) I thought APOCALYPSE was a little disappointing on my first viewing (I wanted to see more of the "Cannibal virus" spreading all throughout the city) but the focus on the small group of characters has gotten stronger with repeated viewings. It's a pretty big favorite of mine now.

  • @QwaiNine - Thank you! The first I time I saw it I hated it as well, but that was because I was watching the edited version which cuts almost all of the gore out. Even the uncut version took some time to grow on me.

  • Nice picks, man! Cool series

  • @FillingtheVoidReview - Right on. Thanx for checking it out.

  • "Cannibalism. Italy's Favorite Passtime!"

Great Vid, Rev.! I think my all-time fav cannibal film would be "Cannibal! The Musical".

  • @johnnyhorror92182 - Now if I hadn't been sticking to just Italian cannibal movies and did an overall cannibal movie, Cannibal: The Musical would definitely been on there. "Shpadoinkal!"

  • GREAT VIDEO!! Nice list man. The one movie I still need to get is Cannibal Apocolypse!!! I really wanna see that flick!

  • @od666666 - Cannibal Apocalypse kicks ass--high recommended. It's certainly the most action packed film on my list.

  • Awesome list, bro. I loved Cannibal Apocalipse, John Saxon kicks ass. Good to see another fan of Antonio Margherriti (who also made one of my favourite movies of all time, Yor: Hunter of the Future).

Hell yeah, son! Cannibal Holocaust is awesome, lol.

  • @JesterHopperpot1 - Hell yeah, YOR rules. Talk about a movie that is overdue for a DVD release.

  • nice \m/

  • @impulsetospit TY \m/
