Wait a second, wtf is the point of this if most games are in 720p anyways? God of War 3 runs in 1080p, so this kind of comparison would be valid for that.

component = 720p ( it also has 1080i but that's actually worse since it's interlaced)

the colors are more vibrant and the picture is way sharper on hdmi but you can barley tell, tobad that when tehy compair games they odnt have the fcolor to full or superwhite oncausing the graphics to look washed out

Yes there will, but you need a quality TV first that support this. And more inch your TV is, tho more you'll notice.

why would there be a difference? Both is HD the only difference might be some kind of blinking in the component version if you have cheap or broken cabels and blocky artifacts if you have a cheap or broken hdmi cable. Buy a good cable and then it makes no difference. HDMI is just marketing its supposed to make you a slave of the entertainment industry so u cant rip the video stream of a bluray etc. DIGITAL cant be better than ANALOG. it simply cant period.

@scottest123 yes it does, its hard to tell because the quality of this video is so bad, but now games got evan more hd like uncharted 2 and you can see a big difference in visual and audio, just make sure you get a gold tipped hdmi cable

less lines on a tv if you look  on a 1080p their would be 1080 lines of pixel n a 1080p tv and 720pon a 720p tv also 1080i is worse in my opionion and is is half the line so 1080i has 540 lines on screen and 720i has 360 lines

Yes 720P with out a HD T.V.(that plays full 1080P) or HDMI cables. You can get any game to 1080P no matter what it says on the box. You just need HDMI cables and a 1080P T.V. Which i have It amazing!

the component saperates the colors from eachother using a special trick, the first cable only careas the b&w signal will the other 2 cables careas the difference between blue and y/c,red and y/c,the green signal will not be caread, since it requires 59% more bandwitch.how the color green cut be made?,i guess once yellow is made out of white,the green color cut be made,once combining the color yellow with blue!
