@yamikai04 My unsolicited advice to you would be: focus on the journalism in school -- the auto part will come easy, speaking from experience. There are far too many hacks out there who can't write or report a story, but know a ton about cars. If you learn to report and craft a good story, then you can cover any industry, be it automotive, retail or baby food.

quite honestly, this video interested me because I some what know what goes behind filming since did it as a hobby when i was younger... so i know all about catching proper sound, angles, and even making sure the cams in focus (10 year old sony cam equipment.)

Great episode guys! For me, at the moment, sound is a bitch.  I'd like a Zoom H1 recorder for in-car sound, will be lots better than the sound that comes from GoPro HD cameras. I agree with Tom about tracking shots, get into the camera and you're immersed into getting the shots, 'on the piss' (off-camber) shots are my fav! That was such a wicked Road Testament. I have always wanted to know how you guys shoot your vids and tom...you're pretty talented my friend. Do you guys find it important to use various filters and highlights for your cameras to set these "stories" ?Like Top Gear, they use some pretty heavy duty tools to set the mood for different cars, but i find you guys stick to the basics and I love it.
