Extreme sports have an element of danger/death to it which adds to the thrill. There is never a gaurantee that the rope will not snap...better safety precautions and well maintained/updated equipment reduces the chances of failure. With extreme sports, ppl have to sign a document which waves all liability involving injury, death. etc. so you can't turn around and sue the company after an incident occurs. People should know and realise the risks they are taking when pursueing such activities.
