I am pretty sure it was Pier 52, it was right by the BIG Wharf to the left accross the street.

Sorry I can't answer better, its been a coupple of years since ive been there, miss it and would love to go visit again soon.

It's not just him, theres quite a lot of guys at Pier that do this. It's kind of like a group of friends that do this, they're cool.

I've seen them personally, I went to vacations to San Francisco and I saw them. They dance, act like robots and other stuff. I even took a pic with one of them =P Lol I like their shows.

No, he stopped moving because it was apart of his street preforming act. When someone puts some money in the cup or bucket or hat or whatever they'll have at the time, they will start moving around like a robot or dance and whatnot. Then once they think they moved enough for the pay or they want the crowd to move on they will just freeze in place until another person comes along and gives them money. You'll see this a lot in New York or Los Vegas.
