The marshmallow fluff looks delicious. But, honey, all you need to add to the yams is butter and brown sugar. And orange juice concentrate, if you want.
Maybe I'm alone but I think this is a decent recipe. It's just a variation of the Candied Yam recipe that my family has made for years. We just use fresh sweet potatoes/yams. I know the idea of yams and marshmallows sounds weird but it's actually really good. Is there anybody on here from the south?
I have seen Sandra do some horrible things in the kitchen (*shutters*) but she has her good moments and this is one of them.
Now the whole souffle thing, she's on her own with that.... :)
What I don't understand is why these videos get so many negative comments...are you all really that immature and pathetic to watch part of a cooking show you already know you don't like just to comment on how much you hate it? Seriously.
@buttercupbaby16 Are you that butthurt to bitch about other people's opinions? There are pretty dang good reasons why a LOT of people don't like her. If you can't see those obvious hints on why her cooking is horrible, then it's your own fault.
@wespolly and yet here you are bitching about my opinion? yeah, her cooking is not always that great. That wasn't the point of my post, I never said her cooking was great. I said it was pathetic for people to come on here jut to say something negative. I can have my own opinion to, if you can't see that then that's you're own fault.
@buttercupbaby16 It's youtube. What did you expect? To have people to sugar coat their statements and NOT to outright give criticism? That just doesn't fly around here.
Sandra, this isn't a soufflé. it's the same casserole families have been making for years and years. and not only that but you managed to make it gross. you suck.
I think she should talk to the tooth fairy instead of the brandy bottle...that stuff is sure to ruin the kids' teeth. Yucky sweet. Is this a dessert or main course?
oh my god, she just used the word "professional" to describe marshmallow fluff.

@alefaye just curious of what you think is gross? no reason, not to argue, just curious

This looks and sounds revolting! Maybe because I think of them as sweet potatoes and they're always served as a savoury dish here in Europe.
But where exactly is the "soufflé" bit? It looks like it's attempting to be a meringue pie to me.
