It's difficult (and really inappropriate) to explain why something is funny, especially something like this. I've enjoyed Vic and Bob for all sorts of reasons depending on the sketch at the time. The particular thing about this, is that the 'content' is meant to be secondary, and what's lovely is the way they both 'crack each other up' right through it. I think they prob. agreed to 'let their guards down' in this one, so this glimpse into their joy of working with one-another IS the gag.. :0 ).

I agree with FamousMortimer, Vic and Bob can conjure up comedy genius but on this occassion the joke they're trying to play around with just isn't that funny. The joke isn't that they're gay, you're right, but sniggering about the word "blow" having two meanings isn't funny to me.
