(Matt. 5:10) ~ "persecute" also means "drive away, to pursue (in a hostile manner), in any way whatever to harass or trouble." So if you get that for this then heaven is yours. "For righteousness' sake" also means for "the doctrine concerning the way in which man may attain a state approved by God." Jesus is the way, so yes, it is a privilege to be persecuted for being a Christian. Then u blessed
The Privilege? I would give that privilege to somebody else... Anyone wants my "crown of martyrdom"? Anyone? The worst part is that nobody ask those poor people if they want to suffer... I pray everyday to not to have this "privilege" in my life. I wouldn't mind my head to be chopped off though, or blown away, i just don't like tortures.
