That's Bob Johnson doing the narration. He did v. o. work on The Outer Limits and was the voice on the tape recorder in the original Mission Impossible TV series.
Interesting that UPA was able to release the 1962 Christmas special AND that 1965 two-part "Little Snow White" episode (from "THE FAMOUS ADVENTURES OF MR. MAGOO")into a feature film in the early '70s....
amazing how you people get access to these things! i went to the movies as a child and caught this double feature! now the song "winter is warm" from mr. magoo's Christmas carol is one of my all-time favorite holiday songs.
Jule Styne and Bob Merrill wrote the music and lyrics - they collaborated on "Funny Girl" too. J Styne wrote the music for "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes," "Gypsy" and many more classic shows.

after having seen "carol" on tv in the 60's, i went to the movies in the 70s and saw the double bill. i've been an avid fan of "carol" ever since!!
