I lived in Seoul from 1990 to 1995 and I had the priviledge to dance with Seo-Teji, Hyun Jin Young, Chulri and Mie when they first came out... There was one kid back then who had it down. Can't remember his name but they started a two man group called Turbo but they never went anywhere.

I have seen many poppers, I've seen REAL original "old school" poppers that weren't old school at the time because I was around during the era... my dad used to break and pop in the streets before it was huge... Nam's thing is Tutting, that's what he's most skilled at (plus he's undeniably adorable.. haha), while others like B-boy Snake are insane breakers. To be honest, breaking and popping to me isn't about who is better, it's about self-expression and having zero limits..^__^

Nam hyun joon has a hard time dancing to the music hiiting every beat. that is y he looses in battles because battle is freestyle no choreography. in his stage performances he is smooth. but in a live battle he is unable to dance on beat as well as the other competitors. you've seen old school then you must have heard of the "Electric Boogaloos" the creators of the art. see the difference of them dancing and Nam hyun joon. if you have time check out the best popper in the world "Salah".
