I take issue with the Liberal Elitist thing. When the conversation was occurring, the General was being addressed by his title. The senator simply wanted reciprocity as a matter of respect. I think those viewing this video understand the struggle to be respected, and even small tokens such as titles and manner of address are important markers of cultural boundaries that needed shifting and bear reinforcing once shifted. That's the entire point of this video! My 2 cents worth, with respect.

I believe the fact isn't a popular idea because it says that blacks aren't grammatically adept.
We could blame lack of education. We could blame the dialect due to place of birth. Maybe the idea was overlooked since ending English words with "ah" is too common.
Nonetheless, when the excuses stop, so will that controversial term. Our ancestors didn't fight against the use of the word just so their descendants can celebrate using it.

If more black Americans approached their life as you express in your videos, IN UNDER ONE GENERATION, I believe there would be a positive perspective of black America, much more so than exists today.
