Hey sabot96 dont bother responding to these guys you stated a good opion and they dont like it thats ok but argueing gets us no where ignore the childish insults
Thank you. Some times I like to fight. Ha ha ha. Yeah I am backing off responding to the people that are not really sharing a good argument against me.
So I guess in your righteous anger you would have no problem murdering me and anyone that stands in your way of what you want. That is wrong. I will not participate in the killing of innocent people. That is what our current system does as well as killing murderers.
I once read a letter someone wrote to the editator of a newspaper and he said that he didn't care if innocent people were executed he only wanted to see someone executed. It was then that I changed my support of the death penalty. I'm not saying that I don't believe in the concept, but no longer support a broken down system that has taken innocent lives just so the cops and prosecutors look good in the public's eye.
That is exactly the feeling I get from a lot of the comments on this video. They don't care who dies, but if someone dies justice is served in their minds. Thank you for your comment.
obviously most people will want to stay OUT of prison, but a minority of pple commit crimes for the purpose of going into prison. it serves to show that life in prison can be better for some people. more importantly, living in prison is definitely a better choice for the murderers undeserving of life. i live in a country without death penalty, but i don't understand why we're showing mercy to the merciless. by showing mercy to the merciless, we're showing cruelty to the kind.
Nonsense. How is keeping someone locked up for life being kind? I think you are deluding yourself to the reality of jail. I have seen the imperfections of our system and I don't wish to give this system the power to kill it's citizens.
I'm aware of how u're afraid that an innocent person will be put to death. but have you considered the number of innocents who were killed by failing to execute a murderer? recent studies have shown that one failed execution will mean 5 innocents murdered. capital punishment is indeed a form of punishment, but it's not JUST a punishment. it aims to deter crimes and prevent more innocents from being killed. it protects the society from dangerous pple like robert pickton. it protects the good.
I am asking for a life time in prison without parole instead of execution. A survey by the New York Times found that "during the last 20 years, the homicide rate in states with the death penalty has been 48% - 101% higher than in states without the death penalty" (Bonner and Fessenden 2000). Similarly, the United Nations Survey of Crime Trends (2000) demonstrates that the United States has a (dramatically) higher murder rate than any West European country without the death penalty.
Homicide rates have fluctuated and studies showing increases of decreases have been flawed as such. There are many other reasons for the US having a high homicide rate (gun laws). Also, life time in prison w/o parole would mean maximum or super max prisons where there have been cases of psychological breakdowns and self mutilation, not to mention really high violence and suicide rates, I actually find that more cruel that DP.
So they make lots of mistakes putting people on death row, but they don't make mistakes when they execute people on death row. The logic of this statement does not hold up to even casual observation.
Death clearly permanently incapacitates the criminal and prevents them committing any other offence. (LWOP) cannot prevent or deter offenders from killing prison staff or other inmates or taking hostages to further an escape bid - they have nothing further to lose by doing so.
However good the security of a prison, someone will always try to escape and occasionally will be successful. If you have enough time to plan an escape and everything to gain from doing so, it is a very strong incentive.
I seen a T.v Documentary about Prison inmates....One guy was convicted and admitted to killing another guy cuttibng his skull open and eating his brain....we should keep him alive eh?...and support him for the rst of his life
Your so fucking stupid that you just can't accept another person has a valid but different view point. My view point would not change if my mother was raped and murdered. I would want the person in jail for life. That is enough.
"My view point would not change if my mother was raped and murdered. I would want the person in jail for life. That is enough."
LOL I can see it now:
Judge: You have been found guilty of both charges of rape and murder. I now sentence you to live in a taxpayer funded prison complete with room and board, three square meals a day, and all that!
It sounds like you think prison is a wonderful holiday. It is not. I have not heard of too many people partying in the street when they get sent to a life in prison.
I am not gay, and I am not a pansy. I support our right to being armed and I have no problem with someone killing an intruder or attacker. I don't support giving this government the power to kill it's citizens. This government is too flawed to have that power.

That is what I am saying. Giving a system that is as imperfect as our system the ability to kill it's citizens is a very bad idea. I can understand your deep concern for tax dollars, but this is not the place for dollars overriding the right choice.

I don't agree and your argument is not the same as my argument. With capital punishment you can't correct someones death. With someone in jail you can set them free. Also, Jail is not torture.

In the past 100 years there have been at least 75 wrongful convictions meaning innocent people have died. just curious what type of neighborhood u grew up in ? the reason u probably talk alot of shit because u did'nt grow up in a environment these killers grew up in where its kill or be killed . the only way i'll kill somebody if they deserve it also i bet u some punk ass bitch who grew up in a nice environment . i got a lil bro who serving life without for a double murder.
shut da fuck up thats one thing i hate about pro death penalty people they talk shit like they perfect let me tell all ya'll death penalty supporters who talk shit about condemned inmates u are no better than them also i bet if ya'll were to be put in a cell with a death row inmate ya'll would shit ur pants
Excellent video. Well formulated and explained. I am doing a report on capital punishment, and I will definitely use these views shown as part of the anti-capital punishment arguments.
I own guns and I believe in the right to bear arms. I would have no problem in shooting an intruder. I do not believe in the right of the government to kill it's citizens.
Fine I will not call it murder. I will call it premeditated killing. That is until this type of premeditated killing is made unlawful. Then it can have it's correct name of murder by the state. An eye for an eye would be a ridiculous law. I am glad it is no longer with us.
So in your mind it makes sense for some people who have nothing to do with the crime to take a person and murder them for something they did to someone else. That is your idea of justice. It is more just for us as a society to not participate in murder.
So we should join them in the murder to do what is right? If we put someone in prison for life, they are no longer a danger to us. I think you want vengeance and not justice. In war you get to shoot back.
The death sentence makes no sense. It puts innocent people to death and it turns the state into a murderer. The state should not have killing it's citizens as an option.
the court system doesnt have to be perfect to be very accurate. it is very thorough. the word innocent used in these arguments is greatly simplistic. war gives the gubmnt power to kill as well, and good thing, too. to simply argue 'its not right' is not very compelling. you've been swayed by movies and media, congrats. what limits the guv from killing citizens with impunity? are you joking?
there is nothing direct about c.p. you may have noticed the decades of appeals that occur after a lengthy and thorough trial? plenty of time to prove innocence after being proven guilty. and some manage to do just that. there are no guarantees in life, or death.
If there is nothing direct about capital punishment and people are still put through decades of being raped in prison, why do you still support it? Capital punishment does not provide any benefit to this country.
Life in prison with its daily exposure to rape, brutality and confinement is not only truly cruel, but it is also very unusual punishment. The gentle, sterile injection of lethal drugs is the merciful, easy way out.
Well I guess we should do this for all crimes. It is so humane. Let's do lethal injection instead of traffic school. You have really missed the point. It is not how painless the execution is, but is our system capable of not putting innoccent people to death? It is not.
no one gets life in prison for theft or burglary. no one is so innocent, with dna evidence and top forensics the chances are very slim of a mistaken execution. let all the murders go rather then execute the wrong one? sure, let em free in your neighborhood, not mine.
Now you are putting false words in my mouth. At no time did I say let all murders go free. What I have said is give convicted murders life in prison. If their conviction gets overturned by future DNA evidence than they are no longer convicted.
how very cruel, and unusual of you. decades of daily rape, brutality and confinement is what you think of as merciful justice? dna evidence is used in the courtroom currently, its not something you have to wait for the future for. it is conclusive.
With your sense of cruel and unusual, how could anyone get sent to prison for any length of time? Rob a bank and get 25 years, but oh I am sorry that is cruel and unusual punishment. Your logic is just nonsense.
you do not agree that decades of daily rape, brutality and confinement is cruel? you dont think that is unusual? the point is, that it too is cruel and unusual, yet its okay, but a nice sleepy execution is the kind of cruel unusual thats not acceptable? but life in prison is? thats agenda driven hypocrisy at its worst. and you ironically question logic...
Yet again placing words in my mouth. I do not say in my video anything about cruel and unusual punishment. What I say is our system is not accurate enough to take someones life. By giving someone life, you give the system a lifetime to correct the mistakes it has made. You also give a murderer a lifetime to regret the choice they made of killing another person.
the big copout is the claim of imperfection that keeps you from supporting the dp... as if someday the system was perfect you'd be all for it, which is a falsehood. one, there is no such thing as perfection, and if there was, folks with your agenda, or people with an agenda who have manipulated you (...after seeing movies...) would invent another straw man... if no one flew until airflight was perfected, there'd be no airplanes.
Yes, the victim's death is cruel and unusual but it is sad that the victims are forgotton as lost statistics. If anyone can prove that an innocent person has been executed, please speak now.
So in your mind it is ok for the state to pick some person that had nothing to do with the crime and kill them. That is what happens in some cases. Our system is not good enough to have life and death power over people. If we live by eye for an eye and tooth for tooth, we all end up blind and toothless.
The state does NOT pick a random person and execute them! If you think this has happened, then prove it. You can also put the cliche'd arguments to rest, as they do nothing more than beat a dead murderer.
"In the U.S., as of June 2002, 108 people including 12 death row inmates, have been exonerated by the use of DNA tests." --ACLU So here we have 120 people that were innocent. How many up to this point have severed sentences and have been put to death? You are just blinding yourself to the truth.
VERY FEW of those inmate were ever proven innocent! Legal issues are the norm. I am still waiting for the name of an innocent inmate who was executed.
Carlos De Luna was executed in Texas in 1989 for stabbing a convenience store clerk to death in 1983. The Chicago Tribune and ABC's Nightline investigated the case and concluded that De Luna was innocent. DeLuna, a young Hispanic man, was convicted on the basis of a quick on-the-scene witness identification, claimed that the killer was a man named Carlos Hernandez.
The Chicago Tribune has named many "innocent" inmates who were executed. I also would not trust the words of a random inmate who SAYS he is innocent. DNA evidence is not cut n' dry. Whether it matches or not, does NOT make the inmate guilty or innocent. If there is strong evidence that convicts them of murder, you do not need it. Perhaps you should read about Darryl Grayson from Alabama. They do NOT screw around in that state!
I have provided you a name just like you asked, and now you just deny my sources. It would seem that it does not matter what I provide. You don't care about justice at all. You want someone to die no mater what they have really done. In my opinion that is wrong.
DNA evidence isn't as concrete as one might think. Simply because it does not match the inmate does not prove innocence. If there is strong evidence proving someone of murder, DNA is not even needed. There was an inmate in Alabama that nearly had another delay to his execution for a murder and rape, with abolishonists crying for useles DNA testing. Governor Bob Riley refused and the execution was carried out.
Can anyone on this thread name an innocent person that has been executed? The media loves to feast off of this just like everything else. Also, majority of the inmates released from death row were NEVER proven innocent. The word "innocent" is abused in our society and the death penalty is so rarely used, and there are so many rediculous safeguards on our justice system that executing an innocent person is impossible.
124 people have been freed from death row since 1973. 15 because of DNA evidence. So those ridiculous safeguards must not be that good. This info is from deathpenaltyinfo dot org.
DPIC is an anti-death penalty site, full of all the lies and abolition of the truth. You may notice that there is not mention at all of the murder victims on that site. Who speaks for them?
You ask for one example of one innocent person that has been executed. I give you 15 that would have died except for DNA testing. You then deny my source. I think you are out of touch with the facts.
i will take your word that our justice system is 100 percnt accurate and has never executed an innocent person thanx for waking me up hail the great usa
hi,dude I look like you an also just like you I supported capital panishmenet and just like you I am changin my view but again if a mistace is done??? best wishes to you nice talk papapa
Ha ha ha. Another of my twins out there. It is funny, people know me every where I go. It is all those twins out there that are confusing people. Thank you for your comment!
If the system is imperfect that does not mean you do away with capital punshishment, you fix the system. And to say that the state is murdering someone, is missing the point of capital PUISHMENT; the state is administering justice. You can't tell me that ted bundy did not deserve capital PUNISHMENT; and you more like him on death row in California.
Thank you for your comment. Is it possible to fix a system of state sponsored murder? I would say no. I would like murder's to stop murdering. I don't want to become a murderer to do that. Place them in jail for life. If additional evidence is found to clear their names than let them out. We do not need to be as blood thirsty as they are to be just.
It is increadible to me that those who are anti-justice, use murder equivocally; to say that punishment is equal to the taking of innocent life is a false eqivication and cannot be sustained logically. I'm not saying that the death penalty should used in cases of question, but with people like ted bundy, john wayne gacey, it is a case where there is no ambiguity and the crime warrants death.
When in Gregg v. Georgia the Supreme Court gave its seal of approval to capital punishment, this endorsement was premised on the promise that capital punishment would be administered with fairness and justice. Instead, the promise has become a cruel and empty mockery. If not remedied, the scandalous state of our present system of capital punishment will cast a pall of shame over our society for years to come. We cannot let it continue.
(my previous post was aimed at pothead) Not that I believe that even the worst criminals should be put to death because i full out oppose CP for ANYON, let God deal with them, but the fact remains that the judicial system is imperfect and innocent people are killed, that alone should result in the abolishment of the death penalty.
You are messed up man, what makes you think you are going to heaven huh??? What makes you so righteous! Maybe we should leave it up to the "ultimate judge" as to whether a person lives or dies. The bible also says "let he who is without sin cast the 1st stone" and it ALSO said "thou shalt not kill" no excuses, no exceptions.
God can judge them when they die naturally. we do not need to speed up the process - it's not as if ppl are immortal, murderers will meet their maker eventually to be judged. we do not get brownie points from God by killing murderers
Actually Capital Punishment was used to send murderers to a "higher court," that being God. When someone committed such a henious act as murder, the ultimate punishment was death to send that inmate to God, so He could be the judge. Thus, the death penalty and the Bible do coexist.
It is not murder if it is punishment. Manson admitted his guilt 38 years ago and we still have to listen to him. Where is the warning for the rest of society? It is not evil to rid society of dangerous killers.
Very good point. 100 people have been released from Death row in the last 25 years.
Second point i want to add to your voice is that whether by murdering a murderer we achieve justice? Is that how we should progress as a society? I think this practices belong to middle-ages.
I agree with your logic. I aggree completely. I hope you post a commentary on your perceptions of the hanging of Sadam. My sister also wants me to tell you that you're cute. :-)
Congrats mate, you're the type of person who we need to get over to the good side.

Agreed. I more or less said similar stuff in my video response.

Excellent video. Well formulated and explained. I am doing a report on capital punishment, and I will definitely use these views shown as part of the anti-capital punishment arguments.
AmorphicReality 4 years ago
Thank you. I am glad my ideas were of value to you.
sabot96 4 years ago
I own guns and I believe in the right to bear arms. I would have no problem in shooting an intruder. I do not believe in the right of the government to kill it's citizens.
sabot96 4 years ago
Fine I will not call it murder. I will call it premeditated killing. That is until this type of premeditated killing is made unlawful. Then it can have it's correct name of murder by the state. An eye for an eye would be a ridiculous law. I am glad it is no longer with us.
sabot96 4 years ago
So in your mind it makes sense for some people who have nothing to do with the crime to take a person and murder them for something they did to someone else. That is your idea of justice. It is more just for us as a society to not participate in murder.
sabot96 4 years ago
Yes it is. If the family of the victim went and killed the murderer it would be considered murder. Why do you let the state off?
sabot96 4 years ago
So we should join them in the murder to do what is right? If we put someone in prison for life, they are no longer a danger to us. I think you want vengeance and not justice. In war you get to shoot back.
sabot96 4 years ago
The death sentence makes no sense. It puts innocent people to death and it turns the state into a murderer. The state should not have killing it's citizens as an option.
sabot96 4 years ago
Why do they need to die?
sabot96 4 years ago
It's a positive and a negative to everything. But very good point.
again2021 4 years ago
vengeance is not justice, if you want somone to really pay for a crime, put them in for life. shit i would pick death over the latter.

I agree with you. The court system has too many flaws to have that kind of power.
mybrain0nska101 4 years ago
the court system doesnt have to be perfect to be very accurate. it is very thorough. the word innocent used in these arguments is greatly simplistic. war gives the gubmnt power to kill as well, and good thing, too. to simply argue 'its not right' is not very compelling. you've been swayed by movies and media, congrats. what limits the guv from killing citizens with impunity? are you joking?
planetfall 4 years ago
War does not give government the right to kill it's citizens directly. Capital punishment does.
sabot96 4 years ago
there is nothing direct about c.p. you may have noticed the decades of appeals that occur after a lengthy and thorough trial? plenty of time to prove innocence after being proven guilty. and some manage to do just that. there are no guarantees in life, or death.
planetfall 4 years ago
If there is nothing direct about capital punishment and people are still put through decades of being raped in prison, why do you still support it? Capital punishment does not provide any benefit to this country.
sabot96 4 years ago
Life in prison with its daily exposure to rape, brutality and confinement is not only truly cruel, but it is also very unusual punishment. The gentle, sterile injection of lethal drugs is the merciful, easy way out.
planetfall 4 years ago
Well I guess we should do this for all crimes. It is so humane. Let's do lethal injection instead of traffic school. You have really missed the point. It is not how painless the execution is, but is our system capable of not putting innoccent people to death? It is not.
sabot96 4 years ago
no one gets life in prison for theft or burglary. no one is so innocent, with dna evidence and top forensics the chances are very slim of a mistaken execution. let all the murders go rather then execute the wrong one? sure, let em free in your neighborhood, not mine.
planetfall 4 years ago
Now you are putting false words in my mouth. At no time did I say let all murders go free. What I have said is give convicted murders life in prison. If their conviction gets overturned by future DNA evidence than they are no longer convicted.
sabot96 4 years ago
how very cruel, and unusual of you. decades of daily rape, brutality and confinement is what you think of as merciful justice? dna evidence is used in the courtroom currently, its not something you have to wait for the future for. it is conclusive.
planetfall 4 years ago
With your sense of cruel and unusual, how could anyone get sent to prison for any length of time? Rob a bank and get 25 years, but oh I am sorry that is cruel and unusual punishment. Your logic is just nonsense.
sabot96 4 years ago
you do not agree that decades of daily rape, brutality and confinement is cruel? you dont think that is unusual? the point is, that it too is cruel and unusual, yet its okay, but a nice sleepy execution is the kind of cruel unusual thats not acceptable? but life in prison is? thats agenda driven hypocrisy at its worst. and you ironically question logic...
planetfall 4 years ago
Yet again placing words in my mouth. I do not say in my video anything about cruel and unusual punishment. What I say is our system is not accurate enough to take someones life. By giving someone life, you give the system a lifetime to correct the mistakes it has made. You also give a murderer a lifetime to regret the choice they made of killing another person.
sabot96 4 years ago
the big copout is the claim of imperfection that keeps you from supporting the dp... as if someday the system was perfect you'd be all for it, which is a falsehood. one, there is no such thing as perfection, and if there was, folks with your agenda, or people with an agenda who have manipulated you (...after seeing movies...) would invent another straw man... if no one flew until airflight was perfected, there'd be no airplanes.
planetfall 4 years ago
I agree there is no such thing as perfection. Therefore the government should not take someones life with imperfect evidence.
sabot96 4 years ago
Yes, the victim's death is cruel and unusual but it is sad that the victims are forgotton as lost statistics. If anyone can prove that an innocent person has been executed, please speak now.
ma7799 4 years ago
So in your mind it is ok for the state to pick some person that had nothing to do with the crime and kill them. That is what happens in some cases. Our system is not good enough to have life and death power over people. If we live by eye for an eye and tooth for tooth, we all end up blind and toothless.
sabot96 4 years ago
The state does NOT pick a random person and execute them! If you think this has happened, then prove it. You can also put the cliche'd arguments to rest, as they do nothing more than beat a dead murderer.
ma7799 4 years ago
"In the U.S., as of June 2002, 108 people including 12 death row inmates, have been exonerated by the use of DNA tests." --ACLU So here we have 120 people that were innocent. How many up to this point have severed sentences and have been put to death? You are just blinding yourself to the truth.
sabot96 4 years ago
VERY FEW of those inmate were ever proven innocent! Legal issues are the norm. I am still waiting for the name of an innocent inmate who was executed.
ma7799 4 years ago
Carlos De Luna was executed in Texas in 1989 for stabbing a convenience store clerk to death in 1983. The Chicago Tribune and ABC's Nightline investigated the case and concluded that De Luna was innocent. DeLuna, a young Hispanic man, was convicted on the basis of a quick on-the-scene witness identification, claimed that the killer was a man named Carlos Hernandez.
sabot96 4 years ago
Now since I have given you a name. I expect you to change your opinion. Also, what part of exonerated by DNA tests do you not understand?
sabot96 4 years ago
The Chicago Tribune has named many "innocent" inmates who were executed. I also would not trust the words of a random inmate who SAYS he is innocent. DNA evidence is not cut n' dry. Whether it matches or not, does NOT make the inmate guilty or innocent. If there is strong evidence that convicts them of murder, you do not need it. Perhaps you should read about Darryl Grayson from Alabama. They do NOT screw around in that state!
ma7799 4 years ago
I have provided you a name just like you asked, and now you just deny my sources. It would seem that it does not matter what I provide. You don't care about justice at all. You want someone to die no mater what they have really done. In my opinion that is wrong.
sabot96 4 years ago
Your sources are not accurate because the media always distorts this. If someone commits a brutal murder, they face the consequences.
ma7799 4 years ago
DNA evidence isn't as concrete as one might think. Simply because it does not match the inmate does not prove innocence. If there is strong evidence proving someone of murder, DNA is not even needed. There was an inmate in Alabama that nearly had another delay to his execution for a murder and rape, with abolishonists crying for useles DNA testing. Governor Bob Riley refused and the execution was carried out.
ma7799 4 years ago
Can anyone on this thread name an innocent person that has been executed? The media loves to feast off of this just like everything else. Also, majority of the inmates released from death row were NEVER proven innocent. The word "innocent" is abused in our society and the death penalty is so rarely used, and there are so many rediculous safeguards on our justice system that executing an innocent person is impossible.
ma7799 4 years ago
124 people have been freed from death row since 1973. 15 because of DNA evidence. So those ridiculous safeguards must not be that good. This info is from deathpenaltyinfo dot org.
sabot96 4 years ago
DPIC is an anti-death penalty site, full of all the lies and abolition of the truth. You may notice that there is not mention at all of the murder victims on that site. Who speaks for them?
ma7799 4 years ago
You ask for one example of one innocent person that has been executed. I give you 15 that would have died except for DNA testing. You then deny my source. I think you are out of touch with the facts.
sabot96 4 years ago
i will take your word that our justice system is 100 percnt accurate and has never executed an innocent person thanx for waking me up hail the great usa

I do not think it is a good idea to give the power of life and death to a government.
sabot96 4 years ago
You scared me there for a second. Thanks for the clarification.
sabot96 4 years ago
I really hope your not using Jesus being murdered as an argument for the death penalty. The Romans were savages. I don't wish to be like them.
sabot96 4 years ago
If the system is imperfect that does not mean you do away with capital punshishment, you fix the system. And to say that the state is murdering someone, is missing the point of capital PUISHMENT; the state is administering justice. You can't tell me that ted bundy did not deserve capital PUNISHMENT; and you more like him on death row in California.
heart4dominican 4 years ago
Thank you for your comment. Is it possible to fix a system of state sponsored murder? I would say no. I would like murder's to stop murdering. I don't want to become a murderer to do that. Place them in jail for life. If additional evidence is found to clear their names than let them out. We do not need to be as blood thirsty as they are to be just.
sabot96 4 years ago
It is increadible to me that those who are anti-justice, use murder equivocally; to say that punishment is equal to the taking of innocent life is a false eqivication and cannot be sustained logically. I'm not saying that the death penalty should used in cases of question, but with people like ted bundy, john wayne gacey, it is a case where there is no ambiguity and the crime warrants death.
heart4dominican 4 years ago
When in Gregg v. Georgia the Supreme Court gave its seal of approval to capital punishment, this endorsement was premised on the promise that capital punishment would be administered with fairness and justice. Instead, the promise has become a cruel and empty mockery. If not remedied, the scandalous state of our present system of capital punishment will cast a pall of shame over our society for years to come. We cannot let it continue.

Icebarrage 4 years ago
(my previous post was aimed at pothead) Not that I believe that even the worst criminals should be put to death because i full out oppose CP for ANYON, let God deal with them, but the fact remains that the judicial system is imperfect and innocent people are killed, that alone should result in the abolishment of the death penalty.
TdotSoul 4 years ago
If you have a system that murders innocent people and you believe that murder is wrong than you have to end that system.
sabot96 4 years ago
You are messed up man, what makes you think you are going to heaven huh??? What makes you so righteous! Maybe we should leave it up to the "ultimate judge" as to whether a person lives or dies. The bible also says "let he who is without sin cast the 1st stone" and it ALSO said "thou shalt not kill" no excuses, no exceptions.
TdotSoul 4 years ago
God can judge them when they die naturally. we do not need to speed up the process - it's not as if ppl are immortal, murderers will meet their maker eventually to be judged. we do not get brownie points from God by killing murderers
Sikosm 4 years ago
Actually Capital Punishment was used to send murderers to a "higher court," that being God. When someone committed such a henious act as murder, the ultimate punishment was death to send that inmate to God, so He could be the judge. Thus, the death penalty and the Bible do coexist.
ma7799 4 years ago
Yes they are, and they should not be able to put people to death.
sabot96 5 years ago
How is it just to murder someone when you say that murder is evil? The answer is that you can't and not become evil yourself.
sabot96 5 years ago
It is not murder if it is punishment. Manson admitted his guilt 38 years ago and we still have to listen to him. Where is the warning for the rest of society? It is not evil to rid society of dangerous killers.
b6en 4 years ago
Does it not seem strange to claim that murder is wrong, and than murder someone to prove how much we think murder is wrong.

Murder is murder and justice is justice.

Very good point. 100 people have been released from Death row in the last 25 years.
Second point i want to add to your voice is that whether by murdering a murderer we achieve justice? Is that how we should progress as a society? I think this practices belong to middle-ages.
