That project was about above-ground storage. There was no danger to the environment or the people that lived on the reservation. The nuclear waste project was about more than just money or human comforts. It was about helping the tribe survive, as well as helping the Earth.
I know that guy and what he said is very much the truth. There really is nothing in Skull Valley to live on and as for the tribe, it was a very fine prospect for them.
If we continue to live on the Earth the way we currently are, there will be very few places to live safely.
We don't need to go back to living the way they did 100 years ago, but we also don't need to have all the material comforts of life if it is destroying our Earth for us living on it, do we?
