I'm not sure why people thought this was so bad? I happened to really like this dance, the choreography, and the technique. The only fault was on one turn they went on full releve. Everything else was fantastic! Those who say they don't have turnout I saw almost full turnout in most of their moves. I thought they were beautiful to watch. Remember those who try to bring you down are only jealous. Keep dancing!

These dancers train at RGDANCE in Sydney, Australia. They won the trip over to compete at Starpower from an Australian dance competition. Their dance school is recognised world wide for creating amazing dancers. I would suggest checking out Sophia Kaloudis(RGDANCE aswell)if u are interesting in seeing a wider variety from this studio. I dont think it is fair to criticise choreography based on 1 dance. Personally I think this dance is classy and controlled something u dont see much any more.
don't get me wrong they are SO good, but i really don't like the routine. seems very cheesy and old school. despite that, i am seriously jealous of their control and technique!

These girls are absolutley amazing! Tahlysia and Holly work so hard and work so well together...it was a beautiful dance. Technique....coreography...costume. It was all perfect.
To the people complaining about their costumes, just stop. If you were a dancer you wouldn't think twice about their costumes. They didn't pick their costumes, their teachers did. They didn't choreograph it, their teachers did. So don't criticize them on doing what they are supposed to. And if you were a dancer you would also understand that costumes like that are 100x easier to dance in instead of long, flowy costumes. Just stating a point, from dancers everywhere.

They did a great job, but I feel like I wasnt watching dancing, the quailty of movement could be impoved.... great technique though! Just constructive critisism.
In my personal opinion! im a dancer and i have versed these girls in comps before and i know what the judges like and what they think is exeptional. The choreography in this dance isnt the best i have seen it is average but there are some good moments in the dance where the chore looked AMAZING in it and this dance is not sexual they are not grinding on the floor. The costume is beautiful and very soft , the colour of there costume is what makes the dance and it shows off the beautiful lines.
The dancers themselves are phenominal. You can't find better technique on a young dancer. Their turns, leaps, extension... everything about them is spot on. Lets be honest though, the choreography is way below par. Talent such as theirs deserves much better. I would LOVE to see these two in a different dance.
You must feel the music... because they didnt really, it spoilt the dance altogether. I couldnt care less if they couldnt lift there leg above there knee's, but did feel the music, then i would enjoy. On the bright side of things they did work well together. some bits out of time but whose to say.
their technique is amazing, but its not,..theres no emotion behind the movement which makes me lose all interest in the dance, yes i can go for daysss about their fabulous technique but none of it matters if your not dancing with emotion in anyway.

@aaronfuegopop excuse you? these girls train week in week out for hours on end. working both at the studio and at home! at RG it is compulsory to take ballet and the studio is very technique orientated. the choreographers are amazing at their studio... you have obviously not seen other dances by Grant and Rebecca, their choreography is original and amazing. do not try to bring these amazing and talented girls, their choreographers and their studio down.
@mikabooyamum is that why they have no turnout, barely get off the floor when they jump, their releve is incredibly low when they turn, and their arms are EVERYWHERE? and just because a studio has ballet doesn't mean that the class is good. and after seeing this dance, i have no desire whatsoever to watch another one of their other dances.

@saltysal22 i won 3rd overall for my contemporary solo last year. i was in the top 10 dancers at the usa dance team camp this year. my school's performing arts program asked me to do my solo for this year at their open house because it was their favorite dance from our dance team. i just had a few shows this weekend in which i improv'd in. not to brag but everyone said i stole the show (id have to agree, i did get the most cheers). so ill let you know what awards i get for my solos this year(:
@aaronfuegopop you obviously are very uneducated when it comes to fantastic technique. their feet are some of the best you'll ever see. if the have low releve when they turn they would not do as many turns as they do? also. their ballet teachers and students produce phenomenal results, many of their dancers are junior associates of the AB, and almost all of their dancers get distinctions in their ballet exam. poor technique is not seen at RG..

I feel like I've seen parts of this choreography before in other Youtube videos. The part where one girl combres and they both let go of each other and the crawling into the extensions is in another video. Perhaps it's the same girls.
But on another note, FANTASTIC DANCING!! I didn't like the costumes, but their dancing was phenomenal!!

for everybody complaining that this isn't very much dancing and it's too much tricks, that's true it's a lot of tricks. but that's what wins at competitions! the bottom line is these girls have awesome technique so when they DO do actual "dancing" choreography, they'll be phenomenal!
I just don't really care for the choreography. It sort of seems to not fit at some parts. Also the costume doesn't fit. It's really sexy for a non-sexy number. It looks very...arabian exotic-est.
@NiShaCoRnEr i agree about the choreaography but one of the main reason RGdance has costumes like this for most of their numbers is because all the dancers there are very fit and have incredible muscles and abs!! who wouldnt want to show them off:)
beautiful legs! there's something awkward about the littler one that i can't put my finger on, the shoulders maybe, but still excellent! definitely less awkward as the dance progresses
