  • Hi had a few questions i would like to know if you could answer.ok am jus getting in to classic truck and i dont know much about them i wanted to know if a 1973 c10 to what year look the same?what are orher names for a c10 i look on wiki and i saw scottsdale custom deluxe or are those just trim models? What is a fleetside bed is it better? Thank you for your time

  • Man. who cares what she looks like on the outside. With that powerful 454 with bout 400hp pulls up next to a little faggot rice car and he wants to race, you blow that fuckers doors off with this sleeper!

  • @76ChevyC10 i wish i could but i took the motor out and found out the crank was going bad :( was a sad night

  • what kind of rims are those? i like them, there like nascar style

  • they are made by a company called Aero that make like circle/ oval track parts and stuff like that they aren't nothin special they ae 15x8s all around

  • @evanbetzTHAT IS ENOUGH OF THAT!!! lmfao ohh man i cant stop laughing

  • You said u took this engine out why? Would u sell it?

  • oh no i didn't sell it i took it out cuz it was winter and it was sittin in the barn and i was just gunna clean the engine and engine compartment on the truck but when i took it out i found out the crank was bad so i decided to wait till i had a lot of money and make that a stroker big block but i just put a 350 in it last week that was a TBI injected motor and i converted it to carburetated and im rebuilding the rearend right now for it to

  • What brand of headers do you have?

  • i'm not sure, i took the motor out and i couldn't find nothin on the headers as far as a tag or numbers or nothin, they are alright ones, on the one header right where the 4 tubes meet and are wleded to the collector, theres one tube that has a dime size hole in it and the other tubes are so close to it to where i can't weld it so they are prolly cheapos

  • They almost look like dynomax headers.

  • @TheNebraskan never found out what kind they are, still have them though

  • sweet truck,id like to hear jus the exhaust cause im goin with the same setup on my truck.

  • watch my other video of this truck doing the burnout, you can hear it idling for a second and then the rest is just burnout haha

  • the 650 works ok going down the road but idling has gotten to da point that it fowls da plugs & now i have 2 or 3 misses. im runin on 5 cylinders. poor girl sounds sick. waitn 4 that 150 bucks to com so i can get my frenz 750 edelbrock. i am 3rd owner of my truck. paid $1,200 i got: da truck, headers in bx, new radiatr in bx, eng stand. the eng had a knock. i put in new rod bearings& oil pump now good as new. not diclosing how big the lift is on cam but i have no traxion in 1st. with 3:42 posi

  • love the ol school flame paint job. is yer engine a 4bolt main? on those trucks the cylinder heads are same as cars. the only difference is if they came off a tall deck truck. they dont make performance parts for the tall deck. everyone i spoke to said they dont. just make sure NO MATTER WHAT, YOU DONT PUT ANY THING SMALLER THAN A 700 CFM CARB ON THERE. my truck has a 650 holley but the guy i got it from put it on there said thas all you need for street but he changed the jets to mak it brn rch

  • did u face any tie ups, set backs, or problems putting the 454 into your '73

    c-10?

i wanna do about the same thing

  • i bought the truck pretty much the way it is in this video, i put the rims on it and some other little things on it but the motor was already in it when i bought it, it is about the roomiest engine compartment that i've ever seen and u can easily sit next to the motor on each side of it with everything there, that 454 isn't to much bigger physically then a small block and they both use the same solid motor mounts and all that good stuff, so no it would be easy for you to do that to yours

  • thanks for taking the time to respond. i appreciate it.

  • Damn thats a nice truck

  • wat mods do u have on ur 454, do u know HP numbers. I have a 74 C10 looks like urs. I am in the process of putting in a 454 also. nice looking truck mine is getting prepared for paint. Hope hearing from ya.

  • oh yea thanx man, well mine is a mildly built motor, i tore the engine out and tore it all apart and what i found is that it had a forged crank, forged stock rods, hyperuteutic piston that were just like stock replacements but not cast, and it has 427 heads but i'm not sure if their a truck head or not they say hi-perf by the rocker but who knows, i firgured it had about 400 hp maybe a little less or more i'm not exactly sure

  • I like the 14 bolt rearend and the bigblock, I have a 79 that only has a small block and it's purdy quick so I can't imagine how quick this c10 is!

  • how much did u buy it for?

  • what r u running? a black & decker aquarium pump? i'll run u w/ my son's yamaha 50cc-big j
