Vincent is Jacob!! My money is on that we will finally reveal Vincent's real purpose on the island, which is that that cute dog is none other than Jacob...the mastermind behind everything!! {prob in the Season 6 finale}
I agree MrBaraka1. I think they were originally gonna do a Vincent flashback of what he got up to on the island, back in whatever season it was? But the infomation got leaked out so the producers scrapped it. As Locke onced said to Jack: Everybody who crashed here {flight 815} was brought here for a reason; I wonder what Vincent's reason is? I hope its more than just the webside thing, Vincent deserves better.
Yeah i heard that, vincent was supoused to have a flashback on the last episode of first season or something like that, so we all could see what he had seen, but it finally didn't show up... i hope he appears a bit more this season, cos he was with the group of bernard and rose, but we dont know what happened to those guys, i hope he's right, although proudcers said that he would make it til final season.
I think that vincent has seen a lot of things, the question could be, will we have a flashback for vincent, so we could see those things? haha, besides, vincent deserves it!!!.

Vincent rocks!! I hope he gets a cool storyline in Season 5, as he's always running around the island. I wonder if he has met Jacob?
