I understand that bright bold shadows aren't apropriate for some occasions but women take makeup TO SERIOUS IT'S ART. I love neutrals and colors the same however when I'm feeling fun & colorful thats what wear. regardless of what some asshole thinks you only live once. have you tried L'oreal Voluminous mascara? It has a very similar brush to the Makeup Forever smokey lash and the formula has similar thickness. it's awesome for the lower lashes and less than half the price =D

@missbabyems well the eyeliner (or any cream base or primer) makes the shadow stick to it as well. white eyeshadow will still work but will not yield the same result.
