Obviously the teachers now need some money... maybe we could show that putting them out of a job is not your objective by providing some kind of support.
In strictly practical terms, this would stop them from becoming an enemy, and could make them start to care more about your policies.
Whatever you do, you need to stop liberty from polarising NH residents.
He isnt putting 'spin' on the story, he's just giving his opinion alongside the facts. Which is actually a percentage of his job as a reporter.
Spin is where you slant the facts to bolster your opinion. It is not just giving your opinion alongside the facts. For you to prove that he has put spin on the truth, then you must show where his report the misrepresented a fact.
I'm not going to defend Hoffman, but neither am i going to say his claim is false.
It was pretty weird the way the police removed the cameras, i think they are responsible for there not being a clear answered to who was at fault. Certainly Judge Burke caused the whole incident by not saying please.
No. The police have a responsibility to all taxpayers and innocent people, even children. You can't stop me or anyone else from thinking that.
Also your biased, everyone can see that if burke had said please then he wouldnt have punished Hoffman disproportionately to his crimes, and in the course of his punishment put him in a situation which he would become injured. He not only ignored justice, he activly prevented it.
If you can't understand these facts, then your only fooling yourself.
Not only are you completely wrong about this, the system you describe where police don't have to listen to the people the serve, and where judges preside over criminals instead of deciding weather they are criminals is absolute authority, also known as fascism.
Police don't serve. "To protect and serve" refers to serving the common good, not literal servitude. Did you really think it meant servitude? Do you really think a public servant is a step away from a slave? Man, you're dense.
Giving someone authority to uphold and enforce the law isn't fascism. It exists in EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY and under EVERY SINGLE FORM OF GOVERNMENT.
I should have added that America was first descovered by the Spanish, who destroyd the mighty armies and governments of the Aztecs and the Incas and stole all of the gold. However when it came to north america the red indians managed to defeat them. Theirs was the true democracy, the war would have resembled somthing like the struggle against fascism in WW2... and WW1... and the cold war... those Russians were pretty fascist as well as communist.
It was the competing Imperialism of France, Britain and Germany which caused the stress. With Nationalism and Militarism thrown in the mix on both sides, there were more reasons to go to war than the death of Archduke Franz Ferdinand by Serbian Resistance fighters.
Mussolini (ww2) said Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power this overlaps the defenition of Imperialism.
"The police have a responsibility to protect people and uphold justice."
You're right about the justice part, but the police have no legal obligation to protect anyone. They can respond to a call for help, but they can't provide everyone with on-the-spot security. Even the most feverish cop supporter must know that the cops can't be everywhere. A crime victim has no legal right to sue the police for failing to protect him from crime--and he can't ask for his money back.
What the fuck? Why are you talking about providing 24-hour protection? We're not talking about body guards. Why are you pretending I was talking about extremes when I made a straightforward generalization about what police do?
Speaking of "whine and cry" isn't it time to change your diaper poolboy? You get so crabby!

You mean like all the Kurt Hoffman videos, where Ridley tells us how Hoffman was abused by the cop, despite no evidence to support his accusation?

The police don't have responsibility to the demands of childish libertarians.
"Judge Burke caused the whole incident by not saying please."
Wow. That is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever read.

The police have a responsibility to protect people and uphold justice. They don't have to listen to people whine and complain.
Just as judges don't have to take shit from criminals they're prosecuting. The law is run by the members of the justice system, not the criminals.

I didn realise you claimed to be such an expert.
Is the extreem idea that you describe really the only other option besides fascism that you can see?
What about the native Americans? They had no formal structure besides the Cheiftan and the 'expert' or 'hero' called a Nant'an

The chief had the authority to uphold their rules.
What is your point?
p00lman 2 years ago
Yup. but that bairs little resemblence to the modern system.

"Bairs"? Wow, learn to spell.
Again, what is your point?
