So a hamburger = heroin. I love when Progressives make it a point to display their lack of perspective for the entire world to see. On that note, I'm off to get a whopper Jr. They're only a buck.
Hm, you were a little rambly and off in this video. Probably can attribute that to growing pains with the new camera and stuff distracting you. All the same, thanks for sharing.
@adrius The conservatives are for support, for those people who can NOT work. They are not for perpetual benefits for people who CAN and refuse to work.. it's the people who are "getting theirs", "getting what they can get", and "scamming the system" that is the problem not people with a genuine need for assistance
@carlindelco Roger, the problem is weeding through the system to find all these layabouts. I already hate that I can't work to be honest. I like to say "the good thing about disability is I don't have to do anything, the bad thing about it is that I have nothing to do". I just can't imagine intentionally deceiving the system, but some people..
@adrius Well I'm not roger! lol Yeah you are right.. and if what you are claiming in regard to yourself.. then you are the type of person that conservative don't mind but enjoy helping. It's the gamers ad the players that need to be put on a system of reintegration. kinda like the system in a hospital , emergency room, treatment, therapy then re integration into the world actively pursuing the American dream
I just thumbed up another video of yours and watched the count go up one, but, when I tried to be the 500th thumbs up here it would not change but remained at 499?
@visualvirtue yeah you have to click on it 2 times.. the first seems to drop the menu down the second counts the click.. atleast that's is the way it's been for me
@carlindelco I've found that to be the case myself so I always do double clicks but this vid I repeatedly tried but no change? I wonder if there is a delayed response that adds it later when I'm long gone or is it just flat out not doing it sometimes?
i hear Mcdonalds among others are now offering the option to super-size your heroin burger which not only means you get your hamburger fix but you also get a spoon and a lighter so you can get that oh-so-addicting substance to your brain faster
IRS..it's a great idea. However the accuracy of this feedback will never be pristine. It will be a generalality where a good portion of the tax contribution will actualy be diverted to somewhere else. You will never know where. Why? It's unrealistic to expect an independent audit to be assessed due to privacy laws. Therefore you would count on the government auditing the government. Don't waste my income on funding that agency.
@MitchofSmeg You're the type that looked to prohibition laws to eliminate alcohol intake. And now we have a new report that recommends a guiness before EVERY meal. You are drinking the koolaide. What you don't look at is what the government doesn't tell you. You simply believe what you are told. Look up Aspertaime. Your tride and true government guidence has allowed that element into vast amounts of products. Where are you on that with the FDA?
and hang on largest parts of the budget? I thought the US armed forces was the largest part of the budget.
Again, stop fucking lying about the meaning of words, also, marxs and lenin didnt do things "wrong" compared to other leaders or their situation, STALIN was the fucknut. As for "indoctrination", learning about other people is indoctrination is it?
"nothing wrong with giving them a hamburger" i agree, but doing it very often IS bad, i would rather parents who bring their kids up eatin right
@MitchofSmeg Yes medicare the largest part of the budget. That even counts the fact that the military budget well exceeds what they say, going into the department of energy and Department of Defense and DoD spending in other agencies. Even counting the stuff they hide, social security+medicare+welfare is absolutely ginormous.
I'd rather help people than fund war, but I'd first rather balance a budget so I can continue to help people in the future.
What you are on about with the destroying farms blah blah blah, thats not socialism bud...
Please stop calling it that, you are misinforming people and are being ignorant of the actual meaning of words. Oh and "this wont be achieved with gov healthcare" oh god fucking dammit i knew that was coming...
Limit care, thats why when the NHS came in everyone heavily got more.
People are stupid, the government would be at fault for not helping the stupid.
Well, the term "folwark" could actually suggest more agrarian character of the phenomenon, but when it comes to the economic and social ties, I think the analogy is pretty accurate.
@HowTheWorldWorks haha Lee, I'm sorry that these people don't take the time to actually Google the budget like I did. Some people like to assume that they're right. P.S. I'm going to CPAC this year with my club on Campus, I hope to see you there!!!
@HowTheWorldWorks, how has Obama destroyed the country? Also, do you agree with the Bush administrations de-regulation of our marketing and banking systems? Do you agree with liar-loans?
Having heard the article about heroin=hamburgers, i took immediate action!! Im having a BBQ and i plan to make hamburgers.
Yummy Angus beef burgers. honestly i hear people go "if you eat vegan youll live longer" and i cant help but think life without steak and ribs isnt worth living...
It won't end at the brain, there will probably (hopefully) be augments to the brain, eventually we'll have robotic versions that simulate and exceed the brain. At that point we will become like gods.
The price control youre talking about really is majorly affecting R & D. millions are poured into it for 1 disease or treatment and shelved, only to be used for something else in the future. once obamacare is truly universal, we will have no care, save for mandated immunizations, et al and speical designated group care.
hamburgers you buy from fastfood have extra salt and sugar in them, same with tv dinners, they have 1/3 to 1/2 of your drv in 1 meal. It's all that extra salt and sugar that contributes to obesity.
The ad wasnt saying "dont feed you kids hamburgers" it was saying, dont feed them fast food
What? We can't take care of ourselves, we need the government to tell us what is safe and what isn't, otherwise the greedy rich people will exploit us!
@copedudeqwerty Marxism isn't about praising Karl Marx, it's a socialist theory created and heralded by Karl Marx hence why the term is called Marxism. Socialism is more of a broadband name that decribes a common ownership principle for a political and economic base. Therefore Marxism falls in the socialist category.
thank you for these videos. As a Canadian I'm out of touch with American political life, but I'm curious about the following: Increasingly people there are worried about the US turning socialistic. Maybe I'm wrong, but the US is the most productive economy in the history of the world (there are no notable innovations of the past 50 years that don't have US fingerprints all over them) and the evidence is that that country remains economically vibrant, so where does the fear of socialism come in?
@steelyman40 Because it's our rejection of one of the core tenets of socialism that has made us who we are. Socialism espouses government interference in almost every aspect of life, which runs counter to the principles America was founded upon.
Our rejection of an overbearing government and our culture of free enterprise are what give us the prosperous economy you refer to.
@MEIZimm Exactly right. The US was founded on principles that run counter to the tenets of socialism...therefore, why are so many Americans worried about the country falling to socialism. Socialism is morally and intellecutally bankrupt. It's been discredited wherever it's been tried. The vast marjority of sane Americans know this. Therefore, why worry about it? It stirkes me as comparable to worrying about the repeal of civil rights or women's right to vote. Waste of energy to my mind.
Hamburgers are Heroin! Give a homeless guy a burger, then try to grab it outta his hands & see what happens. That's proof.
As for the robotic technologies, just let me keep my brain & penis & add hot sexual exercise from Hooter's chicks as part of my food stamp & free health care program. That should be a right, too.
F'n socialists, Robert Reich "III" should be donated alive for organ transplant. What a fitting name for that Fascist POS!
Yeah we could certainly save a lot of time and hassle by explaining to people who can't figure it out on their own that everything in moderation is a good idea and to much of a good thing can be bad. Be it your legs on fire or cramming a few burgers into your heart. Oh well common sense is just not that common anymore.
2:16 - Can't say I agree considering a nobel Prize was given to a British man for his work in IVF. Universities pave the way for new treatments moreso than hospitals.
"If your legs are burning because your laptop is on [them] to long, take the laptop off your legs. That's your warning label. Just stop....It's really that simple"
How dare you insult us with your logic and common sense. ;P I need warn...ing labels on everything.
Hate the blue, it's too much. You are also off center and back a bit. It just doesn't work. I'm alright with the white background from the room or whatever, looks more natural.
and yet it's republicans who believe in fairy tales and magical ideas, like cutting taxes will reduce the deficit, you can beat terrorism with the military, and there's an invisible man watching you right now
@chaoszieg Cutting taxes will most certainly reduce the defecit, as well as cutting spending. As history has proven cutting taxes results in a better economy and more money for the government. How would you fight terrorism? Give them all a big hug while they're busy stabbing you in the back? Don't start with religion just as many liberals believe in astrology and talking to the dead (but to you guys its called voter outreach) as the right believes in God.
@chaoszieg When you cut taxes people have more money, meaning more people will start businesses, thus employing more people resulting less unemployment resulting in the gov't doling out less welfare and unemployment. It also help existing businesses out by them, again, having more money to hire people. The government make all the money back plus more from all the new people paying taxes. Lookat history tax cuts=economicboom eg1920s
And what's the best way to not be terrified? Having a military!
@chaoszieg yes i do mean the 1920's aka 'the roaring 20's' we went into them in one of the worst depression this country has ever faced, at times it was worse than the Great Depression but when the taxes were cut by more than half and spending was halved unemployment fell to 1.8% and government money soared.
@chaoszieg The "great" depression was because of Roosevelt increasing the gov.. the rest of the world had only a depression. 2) the rise in organize crime was a result of prohibition.bootlegging.
@carlindelco 3. The reason we pulled out of the great depression was from the reallocation of war resources into the private sector. Creating new jobs and products as soon as our fine soldiers came home. Plus the whole time Roosevelt was in office the US was in recession. It seems that the more programs he spent money on the farther down the toilet our economy went.
@carlindelco The depression was because of Roosevelt? Take a history class kid. The Great Depression started before Roosevelt took office. Please explain your reasoning here. I'm well read and this subject and I'd like to shoot down whatever your pitiful argument is.
@moreoreos123 NO the "GREAT Depression" was a result of Roosevelt policies.the rest of the world ONLY had a depression. YOU need to read some history. where did YOU get you information a socialist/liberal professor? Did you ever hear about the Roaring 20's? what preceded that? You will undoubtedly have to LOOK it up, because your lib professor did NOT tel you anything about that. It wasn't until ww2 that we got OUT of the depression, because of the WAR and NOT FDR..DOH!! ur just a kid, not me
@carlindelco Yeah, i learned plenty about the "roaring 20's" The great depression wasn't a result of Roosevelt's policies. I can type in all caps too, and be an obnoxious moron. EVER HEAR OF THE STOCK MARKET CRASH OF 1929? EVER HEAR OF PRESIDENT HOOVER, WHO CONTINUED THE SAME SHITTY POLICIES THAT GOT US IN THE DEPRESSION TO BEGIN WITH? FDR started a lot of good programs and did a lot of good things for our country. If it wasn't for him you'd probably have been mining coal when u were 9, prick
@moreoreos123 When did the Great depression end? The rest of the world only had a depression not a GREAT depression we had roosevelt they didn't Do you know what " buying on margin " is? Why do you defend Obama ahh I mean roosevelt when there is NO evidence to support a statement that he saved us from the great depression? NONE! It is because of HIM that we are in this mess today!!! the "great society is an abject failure" !!! The fed should ONLY be in general application NOT welfare! I win
@carlindelco It is Roosevelts fault we are in this mess today? Why don't you take a look at what our nations deficit is made up of, and then get back to me. Literally, and i mean LITERALLY every bit of debt we're in right now from social security, medicare, medicaid would be paid for had bush never enacted his tax cuts. Get an education and get back to me, jackass. I never said Roosevelt "saved" us from the great depression. I'm simply saying that he isn't the evil socialist cons make himout 2b
@moreoreos123 Yes.. I did. it's his and the dems ideals EVERYTHING that is weighing this country down is a direct results of Liberal policies. The fed should ONLY be in general application and NOT personal consumption READ the Constitution pal. LMAO really?/ all would be paid for if not for bush? Now I know you aren't serious. If you could read and do math you would know that isn't true. We are spending twice as much as we did 10 years ago. SPENDING is the problem! I win. U have NO clue
@carlindelco No i didn't say EVERYTHING i said social security, medicare and medicaid. Learn to read. Our entire budget isn't just those programs. And yes, we could have avoided over 3 trillion dollars worth of debt had we never enacted the bush tax cuts. Ironically, that's the same amount of debt those programs have put us in since the tax cuts enactment. Poor arguments. Stop saying you win. Maybe if taking my comments out of context and telling me to read the constitution is "winning"
@carlindelco Spending is the problem? Well. now your just repeating republican talking points. Yes, spending is most of the problem, but it's impossible to fix our debt crisis with only spending cuts. We would have to literally just get rid of medicare, medicaid and social security, as well as any aid we give to the poor. But hey, that's the conservative solution. Fuck the middle class, old and poor people. We couldn't raise taxes on the rich, no, no they couldn't afford that!

I'm generally very conservative fiscally, but I am also disabled and on social security. If it was cut, I would be screwed.
adrius 1 year ago
@adrius The conservatives are for support, for those people who can NOT work. They are not for perpetual benefits for people who CAN and refuse to work.. it's the people who are "getting theirs", "getting what they can get", and "scamming the system" that is the problem not people with a genuine need for assistance
carlindelco 1 year ago
@carlindelco Roger, the problem is weeding through the system to find all these layabouts. I already hate that I can't work to be honest. I like to say "the good thing about disability is I don't have to do anything, the bad thing about it is that I have nothing to do". I just can't imagine intentionally deceiving the system, but some people..

@MitchofSmeg Yes medicare the largest part of the budget. That even counts the fact that the military budget well exceeds what they say, going into the department of energy and Department of Defense and DoD spending in other agencies. Marxism isnt socialism. Canada is considered by many to be socialist that doesnt mean we praise Karl Marx
copedudeqwerty 1 year ago
@copedudeqwerty Marxism isn't about praising Karl Marx, it's a socialist theory created and heralded by Karl Marx hence why the term is called Marxism. Socialism is more of a broadband name that decribes a common ownership principle for a political and economic base. Therefore Marxism falls in the socialist category.

thank you for these videos. As a Canadian I'm out of touch with American political life, but I'm curious about the following: Increasingly people there are worried about the US turning socialistic. Maybe I'm wrong, but the US is the most productive economy in the history of the world (there are no notable innovations of the past 50 years that don't have US fingerprints all over them) and the evidence is that that country remains economically vibrant, so where does the fear of socialism come in?
steelyman40 1 year ago
@steelyman40 Because it's our rejection of one of the core tenets of socialism that has made us who we are. Socialism espouses government interference in almost every aspect of life, which runs counter to the principles America was founded upon.
Our rejection of an overbearing government and our culture of free enterprise are what give us the prosperous economy you refer to.
MEIZimm 1 year ago
@MEIZimm Exactly right. The US was founded on principles that run counter to the tenets of socialism...therefore, why are so many Americans worried about the country falling to socialism. Socialism is morally and intellecutally bankrupt. It's been discredited wherever it's been tried. The vast marjority of sane Americans know this. Therefore, why worry about it? It stirkes me as comparable to worrying about the repeal of civil rights or women's right to vote. Waste of energy to my mind.

chaoszieg 1 year ago
@chaoszieg Cutting taxes will most certainly reduce the defecit, as well as cutting spending. As history has proven cutting taxes results in a better economy and more money for the government. How would you fight terrorism? Give them all a big hug while they're busy stabbing you in the back? Don't start with religion just as many liberals believe in astrology and talking to the dead (but to you guys its called voter outreach) as the right believes in God.
toastertown6 1 year ago
@toastertown6
cutting taxes is what creates deficit.
Saying cutting taxes will help the deficit is the same as saying, if they cut my wages I'll have more money to spend.
you fight terrorism by not being terrified.
chaoszieg 1 year ago
@chaoszieg When you cut taxes people have more money, meaning more people will start businesses, thus employing more people resulting less unemployment resulting in the gov't doling out less welfare and unemployment. It also help existing businesses out by them, again, having more money to hire people. The government make all the money back plus more from all the new people paying taxes. Lookat history tax cuts=economicboom eg1920s
And what's the best way to not be terrified? Having a military!
toastertown6 1 year ago
@toastertown6 lmao, wow you must be on some seriously hardcore drugs.
having tax cuts isnt going to make the difference between someone having the money to start a business and someone not having the money to do it.
very few people even want to start their own businesses in the first place, and almost all small businesses fail within the first year.
Ah the 1920's, you mean when we had 2 recession and the beginning of the great depression? oh yeah good times.
chaoszieg 1 year ago
@chaoszieg yes i do mean the 1920's aka 'the roaring 20's' we went into them in one of the worst depression this country has ever faced, at times it was worse than the Great Depression but when the taxes were cut by more than half and spending was halved unemployment fell to 1.8% and government money soared.
toastertown6 1 year ago
@toastertown6
that is a gross misunderstanding of the decade. Firstly unemployment was 5.2% not 1.8%
Also almost half of the 20's were spent in a recession, and they ended with the great depression.
lets not forget that organized Crime peaked in the 20's
chaoszieg 1 year ago
@chaoszieg The "great" depression was because of Roosevelt increasing the gov.. the rest of the world had only a depression. 2) the rise in organize crime was a result of prohibition.bootlegging.

@carlindelco 3. The reason we pulled out of the great depression was from the reallocation of war resources into the private sector. Creating new jobs and products as soon as our fine soldiers came home. Plus the whole time Roosevelt was in office the US was in recession. It seems that the more programs he spent money on the farther down the toilet our economy went.
suntetsu 1 year ago
@carlindelco The depression was because of Roosevelt? Take a history class kid. The Great Depression started before Roosevelt took office. Please explain your reasoning here. I'm well read and this subject and I'd like to shoot down whatever your pitiful argument is.
moreoreos123 7 months ago
@moreoreos123 NO the "GREAT Depression" was a result of Roosevelt policies.the rest of the world ONLY had a depression. YOU need to read some history. where did YOU get you information a socialist/liberal professor? Did you ever hear about the Roaring 20's? what preceded that? You will undoubtedly have to LOOK it up, because your lib professor did NOT tel you anything about that. It wasn't until ww2 that we got OUT of the depression, because of the WAR and NOT FDR..DOH!! ur just a kid, not me
carlindelco 7 months ago
@carlindelco Yeah, i learned plenty about the "roaring 20's" The great depression wasn't a result of Roosevelt's policies. I can type in all caps too, and be an obnoxious moron. EVER HEAR OF THE STOCK MARKET CRASH OF 1929? EVER HEAR OF PRESIDENT HOOVER, WHO CONTINUED THE SAME SHITTY POLICIES THAT GOT US IN THE DEPRESSION TO BEGIN WITH? FDR started a lot of good programs and did a lot of good things for our country. If it wasn't for him you'd probably have been mining coal when u were 9, prick
moreoreos123 7 months ago
@moreoreos123 When did the Great depression end? The rest of the world only had a depression not a GREAT depression we had roosevelt they didn't Do you know what " buying on margin " is? Why do you defend Obama ahh I mean roosevelt when there is NO evidence to support a statement that he saved us from the great depression? NONE! It is because of HIM that we are in this mess today!!! the "great society is an abject failure" !!! The fed should ONLY be in general application NOT welfare! I win
carlindelco 6 months ago
@carlindelco It is Roosevelts fault we are in this mess today? Why don't you take a look at what our nations deficit is made up of, and then get back to me. Literally, and i mean LITERALLY every bit of debt we're in right now from social security, medicare, medicaid would be paid for had bush never enacted his tax cuts. Get an education and get back to me, jackass. I never said Roosevelt "saved" us from the great depression. I'm simply saying that he isn't the evil socialist cons make himout 2b
moreoreos123 6 months ago
@moreoreos123 Yes.. I did. it's his and the dems ideals EVERYTHING that is weighing this country down is a direct results of Liberal policies. The fed should ONLY be in general application and NOT personal consumption READ the Constitution pal. LMAO really?/ all would be paid for if not for bush? Now I know you aren't serious. If you could read and do math you would know that isn't true. We are spending twice as much as we did 10 years ago. SPENDING is the problem! I win. U have NO clue
carlindelco 6 months ago
@carlindelco No i didn't say EVERYTHING i said social security, medicare and medicaid. Learn to read. Our entire budget isn't just those programs. And yes, we could have avoided over 3 trillion dollars worth of debt had we never enacted the bush tax cuts. Ironically, that's the same amount of debt those programs have put us in since the tax cuts enactment. Poor arguments. Stop saying you win. Maybe if taking my comments out of context and telling me to read the constitution is "winning"
moreoreos123 6 months ago
@carlindelco Spending is the problem? Well. now your just repeating republican talking points. Yes, spending is most of the problem, but it's impossible to fix our debt crisis with only spending cuts. We would have to literally just get rid of medicare, medicaid and social security, as well as any aid we give to the poor. But hey, that's the conservative solution. Fuck the middle class, old and poor people. We couldn't raise taxes on the rich, no, no they couldn't afford that!
