lol idk I think this song is about a feeling of insecurity and youth waiting to mature and escape. Tolet go of doubt and built up pressure and go out into the world. You've got the green light, you've got a little fight, it's time to turn this thing around. I think that this also describes his relationship with the girl in here she scared but shes learning to rely on him and trust him (read his mind. Put your back on me). So they can be free.xD at least thats what I think xD
