@WildBillJP lol He quotes directly from "Death Alley Driver" several times...which is actually an interpretation from Bach's "Toccata and Fugue". Look the song up and you'll hear it...
@fistchips Forgot to include the reference, so here you are: dccustomguitars. com / scalloping. htm (can't post the actual link, with youtube b.s., you know:), so just type the above chopped link (without spaces in between) into your browser and you'll see good old Joe, his scalloped-neck guitar and the people who did it for him.
Great musicican!!! He really rocks, man! In Italy is very difficult to find his cds, but I had the opportunity to hear some stuff and it sounds great, I love his playing.
This is an example of a most excellent player... He doesn't really have a unique sound or vibrato, but an awesome player who can do it all... I like the sweeps. Very nice. The type of guy who could fill in for Warren DiMartini, Vivian Campbell etc.
Why the shit is the bass player facing the drummer so much?

If this sounds like Yngwie to some people, it's because Yngwie borrowed from Ritchie so much.
Still, I see nothing bad with having influences - as long as the music kicks ass, and this does so. More than Yngwie IMHO (and I do love YNgwie too).

The lick at 1:45 is right from Rainbow's "Death Alley Driver"...interesting.

@ratbatblu no it s blackmore stuff, style, attitude, and part of ritchies work, death alley driver and others, has not much to do with malmsteen

The Swede exhibits far more expressivity on his instrument.
Better tone, dynamics and superior solist.
Easleytee 7 months ago
sounds like another Malmsteen but not as good.

Holy smoke! This guy is great - nails Blackmore perfectly with some Yngwie arpeggios thrown in the mix. Fantastic!
