youre doing it wrong. you pinch some ofthe snuff between your thumb and index finger and sniff a little bit of it into your nostil, as opposed to inhaling/insufflating it into your lungs. it's meant to be absorbed through the cappilaries in the nasal walls, and then taken throught the bloodstream into the brain. not through lungs

@elementdude12022 Yeah you sniff it up. there are wide range of scents, from plain to floral to food scents. Compared to dip it is a very fine powder.

I take pinches every ten minutes or so, the nicotine builds up. I guess like any other tobacco product, strength varies. Doomite might be better off with NTSU or Taxi Red which are very strong.

What is your opinion on Cope Pouches vs Snuff ?

Im a regular nasal snuff taker, from the UK. Dip is illegal in the UK and I've never tried it so cant comment as to its effects. Nasal snuff is obviously a much smaller dose than oral tobacco, so you take more often, more like cigarettes.

It does give a gentle pleasant buzz and the bonus of really tasting nice.

I didn't really feel a buzz per se, but you have to remember that I'm used to using Grizzly, so bear that in mind. I've read that the buzz from nasal snuff is pretty short-lived, but some people say they do get a buzz from this stuff.

You dont absorb that much nicotine from nasal snuff untill you have used it several times. When your nose starts to pick up the full ammount of nicotine, you can get as much of a buzz as you can get from dip or cigarettes.

Great video, and I am pleased you put your point across. It may be worth noting that quite a few people also dip nasal snuff. So nasal snuff can also be dipped. I love it all, Nasal Snuff and moist snuff Dip and Snus.

It should go no further than the nasal cavity itself....i.e. NOT snorted into the sinuses, throat or lungs. The nicotine makes its way through the mucus membranes in your nose. Which is why nasal snuff has NEVER been linked to cancer, unlike USA style moist oral snuff. It is the safest for of tobacco use for this reason. Plus it is dirt cheap.

It burns a little bit when you sniff it up your nose, yeah. If you're used to dipping though, there's not much in the way of a buzz or anything like that. The snuff stays in until you blow your nose. It does help a little bit to clear out your sinuses if you've got a cold or stufed up nose though.

Well you saw how I kinda poured a little bit of snuff onto the back of my hand and sniffed it from there. I've seen nasal snuff in little tins (kinda like tiny dip cans), boxes that you can pour out as much as you want to take, or dispensers shaped like bullets. *laughs*

oh! and nasal snuff is OLD. it was really popular in the early 1900's. in fact if you have or ever see an antique snuff box it was probably for nasal snuff.

p.s. back in the day it was just called snuff. my great grandma used to dip that stuff. you can still find it in smoke shops. it somes in cylindrical metal cans.

Ehh, nasal snuff is OK. Personally, I'd rather put a big dip of Grizz in my lip if I had the choice, but if you ever get the chance to try nasal snuff, I'd try it. Just remember, you SNIFF it gently, don't snort! And a little goes a long way when you're first starting out.
