It is a fictional story that follows Paul Underhill and Chantal Leblanc, two New Brunswick high school students, as they deal with the terrible consequences of a decision to drink and drive. It is just a coincidence that I found an actual article about the actual death of a man also named Paul Underhill. In their project, Paul Underhill is alive and must deal with consequences of his actions and the impact of those actions on others.

Dude you know what, this is a pretty sick thing to fake. There is absolutely NO news coverage about any of this, and no records anywhere....To those of you who may have actually been in this situation think about the fact that someone made a concious decision, drunk or not, to get into the car with person udner the influence, the driver only has part of the blame, everyone making the choice to get in with the driver had the choice too, and also the people letting you leave the party as well...

When you played the voicemail of your boyfriend that passed over into heaven, I dont even know him and hearing his voice and seeing your pain is so moving....not to mention that I dont speak French...but I hung on to every sylable and as I listened, I wondered what it would have been like to know that person and I worried about the pain you might be going through.I will pray that you, his family, friends and any possible animals that were close to him will be comforted by God & all his angels.

I know that there is nothing I can say or do to make you feel better. Bit I knwo that in situtaions liek this it;s good to ahev someone to talk to how you don't know because theya rent gopign to judge you. This winter 7 boys and a teahcer died in a car accident, it wasnt a drunk driving accident but all the same, 8 people died. A lot of peopel I dont knwo some how found it heklp ful to talk to me. I feel sorry for your loss but there are more people to blame then just one driver; if the other people at the party/in the car knew he was drinking before he started driving, the blame is shared. Hopefully you don't hold a grudge against this guy forever because it sounds like many, many people made poor descisions that night, including your late boyfriend.

Take a positive from this whole situation and make an effort to make good descisions for yourself and others in the future.
