@KingOystar we catholics honor the passover as part of the curch's jewish roots and we honor hannukah but were not obligated to do so. we have deep love for the jewish faith
@cowboy8555 if you want to honor Pesach as that HaShem freed us from Egypt and there is no other G-d that is fine but when you use it to honor an idol and false god we never worshiped, it is a hyjacking and abomination.
Not to mention the fact that christianity is a Jewish religion ! We didn't steal their holy days, we worship the same God and follow His commandments. Jesus (Yeshua) was a Jew! The Apostles were Jews. The first 3000 converts were Jews who had come to Jerusalem to celebrate Pentecost (The Feast of Weeks). Like Ruth, we have accepted the them as our people and their God as our God, therefore we keep HIS holy days.
Whose rule is it that you ca't have lamb after the destruction of the tempe? Did God say that somewhere? Did they not eat lamb in Egypt LONG BEFORE the temple was ever built ? Not to mention the many years they celebrated the feast days between Egypt and the building of the first temple.
"Jesus, OUR PASSOVER, is sacrificed for us, therefore, LET US KEEP THE FEAST, not with old leaven, nor with the leavened bread of wickedness and malice, but with the unleavened brea of sincerity and truth"
I love the way he mispronounces Hebrew! OK, Christians are NOT commanded to observe Passover. It has nothing to do with Jesus. Really, is there something wrong with your religion that you have to take from the Jews? How would you like it if Jews stole your holidays and gave new, incorrect meanings to your religious symbols? Oh, and the verse quoted from Isaiah is not about Jesus. In the unedited original Hebrew, Isaiah identifies the servant as the Jewish people. What an ignorant video!
@MFPhoto1 Wow, and he makes lamb... I guess being Christian he wouldn't know we can't actually have the lamb during the seder after the destruction of the Temple. Just the shank bone on the plate. And, honestly, I don't know any Christians that actually celebrate Pesach. Though, hearing him butcher the pronunciation of gefilte fish (and other words... like Pesach), I think I should be glad.
Thank you so much for this video. I'm glad you made it a point to say that it is a feast and celebration that was commanded whether we are Christian or Jew:)
thank you for your wonderful explanation of the Seder plate & passover. We've been wanting to have a passover feast with our family for years, and this will be our first year! Passover has become such a blessing when i understood how it represents Christ and his work of redemption! Thank You!!
goodness sakes the story of Pesach is about our freedom from Egypt! Xtians abuse these holidays for their idolitry!

And by the way, Peter quotes from Isaiah 53, saying "by His stripes we are healed". It clearly is about the Messiah.
