I love F1 holeshots, just wondering how they start the motor and take off so quickly?

The guys run a 24V system to assit with the start. The drivers turn on the fuel pumps when the second flag is about to be dropped, they hit the ignition and away they go. The gearbox is a direct drive ie: No neutral, therefore when the engine turns, the porp turns as well.
