surprised to see this put up in 07'. Was there in 05/06, at a large fob too, and we had sirens but they didn't go off till after rounds had landed. Certainly not an incoming detector or phalanx. Was always nice to hear the Apaches go out though, then you knew it was over for real.

I am one to take cover and have been in this situation more times than i can count and still in the same situations to this day but that was one of the biggest displays of complacency i have ever seen.

I think that the best week that I was there was the one where the CRAM was down for maintenance, no running to the bunker for bullshit that week.

Well... Probably not... It was dumb in retrospect but people really do stop caring.
