Only problem I've had is after 7 months, one of the front LED's went out but it doesn't bother me because the front of the case is angled away form me, but besides that it has good airflow, looks nice, and is just a very good case overall.

average 82 fps? I'm on 1680x1050 with 3gb ddr2 ram 2.4gz dual core amd 64 processor, vista 32, and 9800gtx+ 512mb and i get average, 45-50 fps. How are you getting 82 for an average

I actually doubt he is. I ran a 180 second benchmark of the first mission with my HD4890 and I got 81 average. With my HD4850 I got an average of 60.

First mission is a lot more dense then what he is playing on the video. The map makin, really bogs down my frames looking into the main camp, as well as the first mission. Every other map is quite smooth

idk why it's such a huge difference but a few things are I have 4gb RAM and you have 3, my cpu is overclocked to about 3.5 ghz which probably makes a big difference. Also, I don't know what exact cpu you have but mine comes stock at 3.0 so if yours is 2.4 stock it could be the cpu which is causing the bad performance. also my 9800 is oc'd the max I could and make sure to update all your drivers and get rid of viruses and spyware/adware junk. Also defrag and clean registry with Ccleaner (program)

Hmm it could be my processor. I OC'd my card last night to the max before it started tearing but it made no difference. I have 3gb right now but I have 6 installed (damn vista 32) need to upgrade to 64, and might end up just restoring for 64. But yeah i'm thinking it's my processor too, but i'll see what happens with the 6gb of ram. Thanks for the response

Overclocking shouldn't hurt anything so I would go look for some guides online that show you how and just try it out. It makes a bigger difference in games that use a lot of cpu power and I would say it's worth it if you have a little bit of extra time to learn how. It's definitely not as hard as it seems when you first learn how.

Not bad but if you want to get even better performance and take advantage of your SLI motherboard I would get 2 of those gpu's (the cheap 512 mb version) and run them in SLI. Also, Pentium D is a bit outdated so if you could afford it, I would get a newer cpu.

There is a program called FRAPS and it can record gameplay but also record your FPS while playing games.

AliJackson123 is right, it makes it slower when you do the actual video recording but to get the FPS information it shouldn't take out any performance.

You should try using Xfire for recording though. Like you, fraps drops my FPS quite a bit when recording, but xfire isn't quite as hard-a-hitter.

It might have an adverse affect on the quality of the recording though.. I haven't looked too much into it in fairness.

It is still good without OC but overclocking it gets a little bit more performance from it for free. It does make a noticeable difference in games such as Crysis or games more difficult to run.

Fraps is mostly used for recording clips from games or other 3d involved things on the computer. It can also be used to record benchmarks where it tells you how many frames per second(fps) you will get while playing a game. (the higher fps you get, the smoother it runs)

Fraps steals so many frames, because it is writing a HUGE file to the same hard drive windows and the game runs from. If you have 2 hard drives (not partitions), then it will only loose about 15% (in my case). I use an external USB 2.0 drive and it works fine with hardly no decrease in most games (but not Crysis so much). It's about 800mb/1 min for me. . .

Yeah that's a good idea. This game isn't terrible but it's not the best out of the Call of Duty series..really nothing stands out about it. And the graphics really aren't that great. COD4 has better graphics and better everything really.
